I agree: Boston, the Yanks and Tampa could finish 1, 2, 3 in any order. I still don't think much of Toronto, and the Orioles blow.

Niemann looked much rested and improved last night. Perfect through 5.

Didnt you dump him in your fantasy league for the oft-injured Chris Carpenter?

How about I dropped him for Carpenter, only to have him go on the DL that next day. I picked Garza right back up and dropped some other doofus... Good thing too. I still have Carpenter sitting on my bench. wishful thinking.

I enjoyed watching a bit of that game, pummelling that overrated punk, Beckett

Beckett has been getting lit up like a Christmas tree. Such a shame. Or not.

Beckett's suckiness is not as nearly surprising to me as Grant Balfour actually not giving up any runs. Between him and Garza.... there must have been something in the water in Tampa last night.

it's weird how the Devil Rays messed up the DH...... too bad Longoria had to sit out.

we actually had two 3rd basemen listed by accident. d'oh!
Indians suck, we still won. Good thing our best hitting pitcher happened to be starting, though i'd like to see Garza out hacking at shit.

Ben Zobrist was playing third today. and Evan was supposed to be DHing but on the line up cards they had both listed as '5', instead of a 5 and a DH. so the umps got together and decided that tampa had basically burned their use of a DH.

Howard Stern's "Whack Pack" members reverend Bob Levy and Beetlejuice will be throwing out the ceremonial first pitch at an upcoming Tampa Bay Rays' minor league affiliate, Charlotte Stone Crabs game. June 18th.
