Good effort by Tim Wakefield today. No-hit bid into the 8th, lost the shutout but still snagged the CG win and 31 points...on Neil's bench.

Justin... Everybody in this league is going to have their share of injuries, hopefully for me I am having my share early in the season (Lackey .. My ace, Kelvim Escobar, Carpenter, Listch and Bonderman are all on the DL). Do I have great pitching right now, obviously not, but if I ever get Lackey, Escobar and Carpenter healthy along with Harang, Volstad and Wang it may be ENOUGH TO KICK YOUR TEAM'S ASS and possibly win this thing.

I honestly don't remember, but has anyone ever had a no hitter on their bench? I think that did happen once, but not 100 percent sure.

Laura had Mark Buehrle on the bench a few seasons ago.

That Buehrle thing was even better than Shawn Green hitting 4 home runs in a game on Tom's bench.

It doesn't get much funnier than a no hitter on the bench.

The only way my pitching -- aside from Broxton and Mariano -- could be any worse is if I made a trade for Wang and accepted his stats retroactively.

Way for you guys to completely miss the fact that I had Orlando Hudson on my bench this past week for a cycle. What made it worse is he was my Opening Day 2B, and I just did swap him out going into the week.

LAST PLACE HOLLY SHIT !!! There are heated discussions going on between the New York & Pond Eddy offices about what direction the team is heading. One thing is cetin the team can't go any lower. One Idea bring kicked around is changing the team the '06 Pavano's !!! I know It's only the first leg & there's a long way to go, But LAST PLACE !!!! this is totally unexcitable. Damn it what is going on with my pale ho hitters Alexei & A.J., Talk about being cold. A.J's a back up,But in Alexei we are looking for a big year. Don't let us down. Once my DL starts empting out we start making R move. Look out Neil we are gunning for you. Congrats go out to Suzy. IF my team is going to be looking up at any one of this grope. we much prefer to be looking up at you : )
