And I think in one week, Obama will likely be put away. It makes absolutely no sense, but I think it's happening.

For someone on his way out he is sure nailing some big endorsements from that side of the aisle.
But again, bring it. Hillary has no shot in the general election. A Hillary nomination is a lock to keep the White House under the Republican brand.

The thing is, all the endorsements aren't giving him a bump in the polls. Everyone says they want him, but they keep voting for that twat.

Well, so much for Cho's grandoise plans of Edwards carrying the Liberal flag, he's dropping out today.

I'll believe it when I see it. He's probably the best candidate left, and lightyears better than the bitch or Obama, but until the bitch is put down, I won't be happy.

At least he didn't say Hillary. That would be far worse.

NY POST has also endorsed Obama....at least for the Democratic primary. The endorsement is a fun read, they shred the Clinton machine to bits. Pretty much you could count on them endorsing Donald Duck before Hillary, if he was in the running.

It's a shame that Edwards isn't endorsing a candidate yet. His endorsement of Obama (whom I think he would choose over Clinton) could have a tremendous effect on the results of Super Tuesday. Perhaps, he's holding out to make a big announcement this weekend or early next week.

He may be very well licking his wounds.
That, or waiting for some phonecalls to see which potential (but not probable) administration has the most to offer him...

I agree that Edwards is more likely to endorse Obama over Clinton, and from what I heard about 40 percent of Edwards supporters are moving to the Clinton column, compared about 25 percent to Obama. I would think in theory, an Edwards endorsement could help change those numbers. Given how low Edwards was polling, it's not THAT much in terms of numbers, but in a close race, it could make a major difference.
Plus, there are rumors of Obama giving Edwards a cabinet position.

From all accounts its NOT a close race, nor will be ever be a close race. Have you seen any of the Super Tuesday estimates? Yeah, things can change, but the world would need to turn upside down for Obama to not get battered in this race beyond submission.

I find it utterly disgusting that every democrat of prominence is endorsing Obama, yet that bitch is still ahead in the polls.

Well, quite frankly, Hillary hatred aside - what the Hell has Obama ever done aside from making some wonderful speeches?
The Democrats should be ashamed that these are the only candidates of record they could put up there. Hillary needs to be stopped, but putting up a guy just cause he sounds like a poet on the pulpit is not going to get it done. Its not enough.

I guess an Obama supporter can answer that question far better than I could, but it's a question of comparison. What has HILLARY done besides get annointed? I am surprised he lets her get away with portraying herself as more experienced, given that he has been in public office longer. She was annointed Senator based on who she married, not on the merits, and she isn't exactly a foreign policy maven by any stretch. She is as unqualified as they come.
Is Obama qualified? I don't think so. Is he more qualified than Clinton? Yes.

Exactly Tom, what has he DONE? He's voted present a shit load of times and his excuse of voting "present" due to semantic technicalities in the bills that he didn't agree with, is WEAK. If there are technicalities in the bill that you don't agree with, even if it's a bill you sponsored, you vote NO and re-submit when it meets your satisfaction. That was one of the lamest cop-outs ever....not too mention that he has shown a willingness to pander to pro-life and anti-gun-control interest groups.

Based on the fact that Hillary has absolutely ZERO qualification for the role. She is not a leader, she is not experienced, and she is only where she is because of who she married. If she didn't marry Bill Clinton, she would not be nationally known, she would not have had a celebrity to carpet bag in the red state of her choosing, and she would likely be in jail with the rest of the people in her law firm.
Obama got everything he has on his own and whether you agree with his politics or not, he didn't need the corrupt Clinton machine to get him where he is.
Obama may not be qualified either, but one thing about him is that he at least comes off as having some intergrity. I don't agree with his views, but at least he seems honest.
Even if all things were considered equal, by virtue of character alone, Obama is more qualified than Hillary Clinton to be the President of the United States.
Of course, I could say the same thing about Tom, Captain and pretty much anyone else I know over 35.

Apparently, Obama is picking up ground not only in California, but in NY and NJ too (per polls from this morning).

Maria Shriver has endorsed him over the weekend.
I'm not sure how to read that. Coming from the Governator's wife, that could be a kiss of death. But again, coming from a member of Democratic Royalty, it could be a glowing endorsement.
I wonder who Pam Shriver is endorsing? ;D
