I wanna know why Omar could chase down Marlow's muscle with nothing more than a limp, but when it came time to confront Michael, the gimp practically shows up with a walker. Someone in the continuity department botched that one.

I watch this show and become more fascinated this season because of the newspaper angle. My newspaper actually had buyouts a few months ago, so I understand that angle very well. Fuck Templeton though. He's a shitty reporter, who is too lazy to do the work that is needed.
I was also sad to see Omar go. I really wanted him to kill Marlow.

Where have I seen Marlow before? Was he ever in some kind of a basketball movie?

Wait a minute! Maybe I'm seeing things but it looked like Omar wasn't limping when he went in the store. Is that what happen, cause it looked like he walked in without a limp? And Jackass, thanks for the spoiler without warning.

So, I'm glad it didn't happen, but I half expected Marlow to pull some more Michael Myers/Freddie Krueger/Jason Voorhees type shit in the morgue, get up and walk out.
You know, I'm really bummed this show is ending. I agree with Jackass. The writers do a masterful job in weaving in and out of having all of these independent bodies (the cops, the school, the street, the paper, the mayor) loosely and tightly connected.
I could easily see this show moving on for many more seasons, perhaps following Carcetti as his political aspirations rise to a pursuit of the White House with ties to old skeletons in the closet in Baltimore coming back to bite him.
This is a good show.

Mike, I forgot that On Demand was a week ahead. Sorry, my nigga.
Anyway, all I can say is that shit is getting wrapped up, but it could un-fucking-ravel.
AWESOME episode. Clay Davis making mention of my man String brought a momentary tear to my eye.
Next week is the finale.

So, I finally got season 1 disc 1 from Netflix. I watched the very first episode last night. I liked it. I'm trying to get my wife hooked on this show the same way I got her hooked on OZ (although the lack of male full frontal might be an obstacle ) but the first episode seemed to drag a bit for those who might not already know how good the show is. Anyway, I'm glad to be on board with this thing from episode 1.

Wow, this show ends for good and no posts?
I was pleased with the finale. Much better than the Sopranos - we managed to get SOME closure, but everything still was not wrapped up in a nice little package.

Jackass - was there anything better than seeing some project kids sitting around waxing philosophical about the genius of Chicken McNuggets, in Season 1 Episode 2?

I'm 5 episodes into season 1 so far. Good stuff. Love the intro of Lester Freeman as a burn-out cop with "Natural Police" instincts.
