So much for Lesnar in TNA, its on good word he is signed with UFC, and UFC will not allow him to dabble in pro-wrestling while working with them.

He'll beat some bums but get rocked by someone with real skill.

You think? Common sense says that will happen, but then again, wrestling skill is so important in UFC, and obviously, he has that based on his amateur background. Great wrestlers always do well. His striking ability will be his weakness, as will his lack of experience taking a punch.

As will his lack of experience with any sort of submission. I'd be shocked if he actually did well against good opponents.

He's obviously a brilliant athlete, and the hardest part of UFC, he has down pat. It always seems that the great wrestlers do very well. I'm sure he needs a lot of work, but with his skills, he could become very good fairly quickly. He'd seriously have to work his way up though. They probably wouldn't have signed him if he wasn't capable of holding his own.

He's a big name, and one people will recognize. He is marketable, and that = $$$.
I saw his one MMA fight, and I was not impressed. The guy he fought was a throw away and did nothing but let himself get hit by Lesnar. It was a joke.
He MIGHT become good, but we'll see.

So TNA has been getting reamed for being too all over the place, having too many things happening at once, being too-fast paced, and on and on. Well, all this is true to an extent. But you know what? Fun hour of TV.
Watched this weeks offering this morn, and it translated so much better than it had when I read the spoilers. Reading the spoilers made my head hurt. But watching it play out on TV, well, it came together better, and I found it all very interesting. TNA has a strength in character development. Christian is a hoot. Guys like Styles and Tomko play their roles so well. Even Jeremy Borash comes across well. But you know who is doing an EXCELLENT job? Week to week, the improvement has become astounding, and I was the LAST PERSON who wanted them on TV, and spent the whole first appearance mired in disgust. Karen Angle. Holy crap, she is more a heat magnet and a better TV presence in these past couple of months than most of the WWE divas are in years. She is taking a baking simply for being favored as Angle's wife, but she has been a tremendous performer.

I wouldn't call her a tremendous performer. She definitely gets great heat, but she's a horrible actress.

Well, even though they have angle now, they seem to still be in stuck in 'WCW 1999' mode. LOL I miss WCW lol.

Angle's wife is actually acting much better than I thought she would. Think about the times real life family came on shows and how bad things were. She's actually not doing a bad job.

I'll give you that, but I think she's about where Stephanie McMahon was when she first started. Stephanie was awful in the beginning. Not the natural Shane is. She's still not all that great, but lightyears above what she once was.
Karen Angle is a heat magnet, but she's not that great. Then again, compared to Vicki Guererro, she's Dusty Rhodes.

Test is already gone. Apparently the heat around was too much for TNA, they were taking a beating from the insiders regarding Test's dodgy record with failed drug tests and the like. Add to that a reported bad attitude backstage, and they cut him loose.

And, regarding the TEST, TNA will begin randomly drug-testing the wrestlers starting in late September. This is a response to all the heat swirling around about wrestling and druggery.

Man, that sucks. I was looking forward to Test having a nice run in TNA. They were assembling a nice main event roster.

Actually, Test was apparently told once the 2-hours are opened up, there may be room for him to come back. Basically, he was told to get off the stuff, to be blunt. They cant have him parading around looking like he does. He is a red flag. If he dissapears and comes back looking a bit more normal, he still has enough natural size that they would bring him back.

I'd like to see Matt Morgan get into some action finally.

The new tag team champions in TNA are Ron "The Truth" Killings and Adam "Pacman" Jones.

Yeah, and Pac Man is still not allowed to touch anyone, so they managed to pull that off last night without Pac Man taking a bump, or even laying a hand on anyone.
By the way, it was finally officially announced last night - TNA to 2 hours weekly, from 9-11 on Thursday nights.

Yeah, starting in October.
The PPV sounded pretty decent last night according to the Torch reports.

Yes, and from all accounts it was a good match. Most of the matches seemed good, aside from a few snafus. If the internet reports liked it, I'm sure a fan like myself would have loved it, since the internet geeks split hairs too often.

Yes, he did, in what most are calling the match of the night.
Balls, bad news for you - the 2 hour show most likely "LONGER MATCHES." You know, actual wrestling....I know you have a problem with that sort of sidelight to all the buffoonery going on all the time.

You shouldnt even post in this section.

There is nothing in the wrestling I haven't seen before. You're naive if you think the majority of people watch wrestling just for the wrestling.

Yeah but they don't ignore the wrestling.
Holy crap dude, maybe you should watch the OC or American Idol instead. What do you do? Sit anxiously until Bob Backlund comes on the screen?
Wow. You just implied that you watch wrestling for the backstage skits, and FF most matches.

Not entirely, though for the most part it is the storylines and angles that matter most to me. There is pretty much nothing left in terms of the actual wrestling to see. The beginning and end of matches are cool, but most of the middle isn't.
