Good call, ch0 - I'm really digging this. Despite a band name which makes Internet searches a pain in the ass, I was actually able to find this album on Soulseek with little trouble.

Indy Racing Weekly, a free open-wheel racing podcast weekly on Indycar.com. Getting stoked for this years Indy 500. I am a passing fan of the Indy cars, not as avid as I am in my NASCAR watching, but I can get up for the 500. Plus, I love me some Danica Patrick, although she wont be a factor in the race, again.

Always loved this cover song by One Way System when I was younger. The sound quality in the beginning of the clip is recorded live in studio, but quickly switches to some staged concert footage with better audio. www.youtube.com/watch?v=dKAracRK53Y

Driving around over the weekend with K-Rock on, and they played a block of the Offspring. The Offspring were good at what they did, I guess, and even I owned a copy of their debut work. Its good for a nod of recognition, and a raise of the glass, if you happen to be holding one. It was enough for me to pull out my cassette copy of Smash last night, to bring in to work. I am playing it now, it actually holds up well. I'm having a good time.

My brother-in-law mailed me the 2-CD set, 3 hour-long "2007 Smack Off" from the Jim Rome show.
For those who don't know - The Smack Off is a yearly event on the Jim Rome Show in which Rome hand picks his best frequent callers and hosts and invite-only call-in show in which the callers give their fresh-takes, insult each other, and the winner walks away with the "King Of Smack" crown.
Just fired up this years' offering.

I've been checking out the new Used record. Not bad. The Bird and The Worm is an awesome track to get pumped up to.
Right now is today's O&A show.

Just listened to Kelly Clarkson's latest album. Looks like Atlantic was making the right choice is not wanting to release this record. There's 2 good songs, 1 of which are very very good I think, on the album and then a huge fall off on the rest. Pity, I think she's talented.

Just took a lunchtime stroll to Best Buy and scored the new King Diamond effort. So far, so good. I own more discs from the King/Mercyful Fate combo than any other band/entity.

Yeah, cause the blood thing was never done before.
Actual story behind this King Diamond cover is that he saw this as a painting on a horror site, and liked it enough to use as the cover...and the backstory for the theme disc.

This brings something else to mind:
I've already said that some of you metal fans should check out a band that is pretty familiar to the punk rock crowd - Turbonegro.
Same can be said for The Dwarves....GREAT GREAT fucking band! You get a little punk rock, metal, as well as the occasionaly NIN, Ministry style "industrial" stuff with these guys.
