Dana just ordered a box set for me, for Valentines. The mighty Therion - 4 DVD discs (6 hours worth of concert and backstage footage, interviews, and videos) and 2 live CDs. Right now I am listening to my latest album burn. From New Wave of British Metal stalwarts SAXON. Interesting band, over the years I have loved some of their tunes, and hated others. Often within the same slab of music. I had not heard this particular album "Innocence is no Excuse" in years. Another one I have from them, Crusader, I later bought in cassette. This has been a refreshing listen, better than the one I ended up with on tape. One song, Broken Heroes, is insanely good, and would fit on any metal album recorded today worth its salt. I have been playing it over and over. Check out this wack cover.

WOW! I haven't heard Broken Heroes in at least 15 years, but it's in my head now.

Its a GREAT song. I am happy someone here on the board has heard it. Its funny, when I listen to a lot of stuff I bring along to work I check out various reviews from Joe Public as I do so from site to site, and just about everyone commenting on this album mentioned Broken Heroes and how cool it is.

Here's a great site. I urge you all to use it. Here's my list: www.recordnerd.com/lists/joetee316I still buy a lot of vinyl. Since I don't really own any CDs anymore and I've gone down the digital route, I need something materialistic to collect. I really only buy colored vinyl/limited edition vinyl.
