Right now I am drinking Post Road Pumpkin Ale, which is made by Brooklyn Brewery. I dont remember seeing that on the bottles last year...perhaps they bought out this brew. Says on the bottle, "brewed by Brooklyn Brewery." However, to add to that, it gives the locale of "Syracuse, NY" which is not really hardcore Brooklyn. Its good, the same as last years vintage. I guess we may be talking about the same brew, although it goes by a neutral name. Dude, all "brooklyn Brewery" bottles are brewed upstate. same brewer just theres no bottling line in brooklyn.all brooklyn brewery Drafts are brewed in brooklyn. i know i took the tour

If they get paid $0.22 an hour, I don't even WANT to know how much urine is in the beer.

Not really sure how I feel about this:
DUBLIN, Ireland Oct. 26, 2006— Guinness, the dark Irish drink known as the "black stuff", could soon be turning red.
Manufacturer Diageo plans to produce a version at its Irish brewery using lightly roasted barley, which will have a reddish colour, and give it a trial run across the Irish Sea in Britain.
"If you held up a pint of Guinness to the light, the red would come through. It's a very deep red," a Diageo spokeswoman said.
Diageo plans to test Guinness Red on drinkers in British pubs in the coming months but has no plans to launch it more widely, either at home in Ireland or in about 150 other countries where Guinness is sold.
The beer, which like the traditional, darker Guinness will have a creamy white head and be poured in the two steps needed to let it settle, will have a strength of about 4.1 percent.
Diageo already sells several versions of the brew — including Guinness Original, Guinness Draught and Guinness Foreign Extra Stout — to cater to different tastes around the world and has tested other limited-edition varieties in Ireland in the past year.

Dude, thats my beer. I drink more of that then anything. I like me the Saranac Pale Ale and its distinctive flavor. Goes especially good with a cigar and a dose of crazy scary daddy music.

Two new ones last night. Really liked this one. Tastes a lot like Newcastle. This one -- Fischer Amber, from France, not so much. Wasn't horrible, just boring, despite the cool bottle.

In keeping with what seems to be the theme of my weekend -- drink a shitload of beer -- I tried this for the first time and really, really liked it. Very different, distinctive taste.

Vermont stuff: Magic Hat Jinx. Me likee. Very full, rich, deep (Jesus, I sound like a wine critic!). Dark ale would be the best way to describe it. Reminds me a little bit of Ommegang's Three Philosophers, mentioned earlier in this thread, one of my all-time favorites.
