OK, so I am two shows into this series on IFC, and based on that, I think it deserves it's own thread. SPOILER ALERT - Last night's episode (well, last night is when I watched it) with John Popper sitting in with the band to perform their Bris song, the bands' manager Dina trading kinky sexual favors with John Popper to get the band signed, Slump Busting....made for a hilarious episode. Thus far I've seen the John Popper episode and the episode where David Z sleeps with the kids' mother that they perform for as The Z Brothers (their kids' party band). Good stuff. For those who do have IFC, share the wealth - record this show for your pals. www.ifc.com/zrock

Another SOLID effort from this show - this time it was the "JJ Godfrey's" (Gilbert's son) birthday party.

Again, Im out, I dont get the channel. And in more glum news, my brother went to burn some copies to DVD for me on his burner, and it would not let him due to the old "copyright protected" gag. I even went so far to look for a set on Amazon.com, and none have been released yet. So what am I SUPPOSED to do, Cho?

My brother, he does not have a "tape" setup, he has a DVR recorder. It wont let him record it off the DVR. I am not going to make him hook up a VCR in the room off the tv just so i can see this show.

This show is back. Last week's episode was only OK, but this week's show with Paulie Z dating Bonnie Bernstein was really good.
This show is becoming the new Curb Your Enthusiasm, with all of these stars clamoring to get cameos - Joan Rivers, Dee Snider, Dave Attell, Dave Navarro, John Popper.

I think those sorts of cameos RUIN shows, especially to people like me who dont care, or sometimes dont even know, who these idiots are.

They're actually pretty funny cameos the way Z-Rock and Curb have these people playing themselves and getting embroiled in embarrassing situations....
...as if Bonnie Bernstein would really be up for a one-night stand with the singer of a small time rock band from Brooklyn who moonlights as a kiddie party entertainer.
