Well folks, we are just about off to Emma's school for the infamous Halloween Parade. Scheduled for 930, I guess while the kids costumes are still in good shape. Mom and Dad are both off today, and we are dressed to impress.
Afterwards breakfast may be in order, and then I am hoping to log some couch time instead of the usual backbreaking end of month crap i would normally be going through today at work.
So enjoy your Halloween, please send tales if any spark up.

Last night Jimmy Kimmel did a Sarah Palin themed spoof on our favorite Halloween show - "It's The Great Palin, Charlie Brown."

Just got back from the parade, it was mad crazy. I was stunned at how big an event this Kindergarten parade turned out to be, we had to cruise the blocks around the school to find a spot to park.
Anyway, saw something funny. Some dick in a Mercury Mountaineer was parked in the small circle around the front of the school, blocking a method of egress, and some dopey women smacked the car on the way around it, and made a healthy scratch, and a Hell of a lot of noise. What made it cooler to us is that there were 300 people standing around at the time, watching all this unfold. Talk about a a time of shame.
Emma was one of a dozen or more witches, and at least 4 girls had the exact same witching outfit from The Childrens Place on. Emma's funny, she was so worried about her witch hat falling off she made the whole march with her hands on her head, pretty much.

My daughter is Cleopatra today and my son is Superman.
Of course, their mother won't be sharing photos with me....so I'll have to use my imagination.

I was going to dress up as a Dead Sux fan today, but I decided that I would not look so hot in drag. That and the fact that I would have to go out and purchase some type of Sux outfit. I guess that I could have burned it later...

i call shenanigans why are tom's pictures dated january 2007? Maybe the drama behind chaging the date on the camera is more trouble than it's worth. Makes me wonder if 12:00 still flashes on the video player at Chez Brown.

Nah, Dana figured out the video and DVD players for us.
Yeah, changing the camera thing is too much a hassle. I find it better to just ignore it.

I had it changed until I bought a new memory card and for some reason when I put it in the date reverted back to January 2007. I don't know how to change it without fooling around with it for a while or referring to the manual.... and who know where that is??
The only other time I set it was when I first turned it on after taking it out of the day and it told me to select the date.
In all honesty I would rather remove the date all together than have the correct date there.
