Good morning. Today marks the birthday of a legend. Tom is the world's youngest grumpy old man. His baseball arguments are silly as he is defender of all players who suck, and is a self loathing Yankee fan. He is so old, his social security number is 1. He may not be older than Moses, but he went to high school with him. Tom is so old, that when he went to high school, there was no history class. Tom is so old, that his birth certificate says "expired" on it. He's so old, he knew Burger King when he was still a prince. But that said, I must offer Tom congratulations on making it through another year without dying. He is a true icon whereever he goes, be it this board, the other board, the bleachers, or walking down the street, and it is great to run this board with him. He deserves a tip of the hat. Because of all of the above, here is a picture of William Shatner, to help him enjoy his day:

Happy Birthday to Sheriff Tom.
I am proud to have you as a brother.
Today is your day. So relax, put on some tunes, light up a cigar, and down a few high quality brews. I'll be sure to raise a glass to you at lunch today.

Happy Birthday Tom!
Ever since I stumbled on to section39.com, you have always been the sensible, rational one of the bunch while still maintaining that Bleacher Creature irreverence.
Interacting with you and your family on this board is always a bright spot in my day and a good way to escape the drain of work. I'll always be appreciative of you and Balls making this place available. You're a good guy and I hope to cross paths one day.
Congrats.

I actually have a copy of that very Yankee Magazine - sans autograph, in a hefty pile of baseball publications I own.
Thanks all!

Because a picture is worth a thousand birthday text messages, here are some pictures to celebrate the birth of the man who introduced me to the love of my life! My name is TJ Brown and I grew up just outside of Malvern Arkansas in a little place named Gifford and I now live in Western Arkansas. TJ Brown 11/5/02 105 lbs 6 points After 5 attempts, we finally connected on our first deer TJ Brown and Jmike. Check him out at www.myspace.com/tjbrownsmusic .

Decent idea for a birthday gimmick, but I really wish you would learn how to size pictures....the one pic of the guy on the rock is stretching off the screen and into my kitchen right now.

No doubt. That picture starts on Tom's computer, and finishes on mine.

Way to not have a wide screen monitor I know how to size with HTML, but is there a way with these shortcut message board codes?

WE HAVE WIDE-SCREEN MONITORS. You are constantly the only one who has this problem, no one, and I mean no one, posts pics as large as you when you do it. Its almost an art.

Well, Liz is guilty of this issue as well But yeah, standard monitors are set at 1024X768. Just keep the pictures smaller.
