Happy Birthday to you, Chrissy. I am happy to have you as a member of the family, especially after the auspicious start we got to via the auspices of Down the Hatch. Cheers to you! I hope BIgal is taking care of you today, and you are having many a laugh and a drink. We love you, cheers to you! Here is a random baseball card to help you enjoy the day.

Congratulations on making it through another year without dying. To help you celebrate your day, here's a picture of William Shatner:

Wow Laura, does that say 83rd?
I only FEEL 83. But, I think the first number just got a little smeared. It is supposed to be a "2", not an "8".

Nah, thats totally 83.
Note the image on the cake. Yellow bird, over pink bloom. Thats a lyrical homage, to 8 clusters of 10, which in age translates to 80. So in the 80 block, you would signify with the yellow bird over the pink bloom.
The Bard known simply as Camputilon said that the yellow bird picks at the pink bloom, to signify both a fresh spring, and a long road travelled.

Wow. You know a lot of stuff.
"Chrissy" is a weird name for an 83 year old.
