Hello all,
I know there's not many Canadians on the board but I still want to wish everyone a Happy Canada Day.
I think this may be my first Canada Day spent outside of Canada.
I'm currently sitting outside on the patio of Cafe at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas. It's still kinda early here but we'll be hitting a pub later on to celebrate and I'll do my best to have a beer for each and everyone of you.
So if you have time raise a pint to your neighbours to the north.

Take off, eh!
Hmm, what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. CBC Guy, you sly dog. Happy Canada Day to you, GIJane, Big Woman, and the rest of your ilk! Have a Molson or a Moosehead, and take pride in your wonderful country, my friends.

While watching baseball on the package, just saw some fans in Seattle waving Canadian flags cause the Jays are in town. Very kind of them.

Congratulations on making it through another Canada Day without dying. To help you enjoy the festivities, here is a picture of actor, director, award winner, horse trainer, author, philanthropist and Canadian William Shatner:

Well boys and girls.
That may have been the best Canada Day of my life. We went to the Rio Hotel....there's this Irish pub there but it was dead, we had a few drinks watched the Yankees game but after that it was basically dead, we needed a little more excitment and action so we split and after a few more drinks in someone's hotel room we hit New York New York.
Theres an Irish pub there too....they have these two guys playing the piano, they take requests and play any and every song.
That place was exactly what we were looking for. It was really jumping, great tunes, drinks flowing all around, of the large group of us, myself and 1 other guy were wearing CANADA shirts and everyone was giving us lots of love. People were asking us to pose for photos with. It was just crazy....the guys playing the music were doing this whole Canada versus the UK and which one America likes more....The crowd was so into it...everyone was giving the Canadians much love.
Just an amazing time.
Some guy was asking me why we were so excited about Canada Day when it was the day before. I told he was wrong it was July 1st. He starts telling me thats "He's pretty sure I was wrong cause of blah blah blah" but once I heard that Bawston accent come out I knew that he, his opinions and everyone he knows and loves are useless.

Why would you argue with Canadians aboot when Canada Day is? That is like arguing telling a Frenchman that Bastille Day is not July 14th.
BTW, I like how my calendar says (on July 1st of course) "Canada Day (Canada)." Is the "(Canada)" really necessary there? Where else would Canada Day be celebrated?

Where else would Canada Day be celebrated? Clearly, Las Vegas.
