I love the Pearl. I've never had any problems with mine. It's perfect girl people with small midget kids hands like me. the only thing I didnt like was that the QWERTY is doubled up.
the battery's always been fine for me. with my first pearl and with my new updated pearl, Ive never had any problems, if anything... it lasts longer than my previous cell phones. i can catch a 'low battery' and still manage my emails and texts for hours and hours.
and as for the ringer's volume? it's fine unless you're completely deaf. then you should just put it on vibrate...

If you have a comfort level with Blackberry, stay with Blackberry. I made the move a few months ago, and we could not be happier. Blackberry is also a solid company, constantly upgrading product, and a safe bet. I have no idea of this Ozone of which you speak, not a Verizon guy. But I prefer Blackberry to HTC and recommend it through my company.

Just ditched the Blackberry Curve (and T-Mobile - sorry, Tom) for the iPhone.
