"My boy Owen............, is a girl. "
lol....that happened to a friend of mine with her cat also.....Owen is beautiful - I had a cat named Princess who looked EXACTLY like your Owen - she lived to be 17 years old and she was the sweetest cat ever......

Dana told me earlier that in the short time she was there with the vets and his "nurses" they could not get over how sweet and beautiful Owen was. They said she's top notch.
Im tellilng you, this does explain a lot, especially a good amount of the cutesy cuddly thing she has going on with little butterball Storm.

I hope your Owen has as long a life as my Princess did....I now have a cat that my husband rescued from the woods behind his job...she came to us just before Princess passed and she's been such a sweetie too.....enjoy......... ;D

I still love her. And it does make all the cuddling she does with Storm much less gay. I still blame the vet for telling me when we still thought he was a boy that his son has a girl cat named Owen. I hope they let her come home. I was not prepared to leave her over night.

You never bought a girl cat thinking it was a guy cat when Bush was President.

"I was not prepared to leave her over night. " I guess she's in getting "fixed" ? My rescue cat (who we have no idea how old she is) went into heat 14 months after we rescued her - oh boy were we surprised....but we did have to leave her overnight.....we did have two males (brothers) who used to "cuddle" all the time...

The people who gave it to us knew we wanted a boy, and told us it was a boy. They flubbed. I took them at their word, why would I doublecheck? And I dont make a habit of roaming around a cats underside to ever realize. I did, however, notice Owen sprawled over the arm of the couch a few nights ago, and something was striking me as askew. But I simply moved on.
Danas right, it makes some of the stuff going on a little less gay or at the least cutesy. And Owen's sleek look, prance, little hops, and other proclivities are more excused now.
