Anyone interested in a kitten? A friend of mine's sister's neighbor has 2 cats that had 5 kittens each. There are 8 left. One litter is my cat Storm's brothers and sisters. 3 of the kittens are about 8 weeks old the others are 6 weeks. If they don't find homes they are going to a shelter. If anyone is interested you can email me at socratesjohnson13@gmail.com or get in touch with Tom. I can arrange for the kitten(s) to be dropped off at my house and they can be picked up there.

I will ask her. Probably no orange. One litter the mom is a grey tabby and the dad is black and white. Not sure about the other mom but the dad is the same.

just suck it up and get a dog!

I agree with you on dogs, but when it comes to cats, it really depends on the animal. I have two. One is the nicest, sweetest, most affectionate, dog-like cat I've ever been around. The other is a total and complete bitch other than the five minutes or so per day when she's in a good mood.

I used to be of the cats suck ilk but I am reformed. Dogs are more work. My cats are more affectionate than my little chihuahua was. I loved my Suzie and was devasted when she passed away at age 16, but what a bitch!

When I was five years old my aunt and uncle bought me a basset hound for my birthday. It was the greatest present I ever got. That dog was amazing. I would trade a thousand kittens for that dog.

Dogs are lots of work, but isn't that why you adopt/buy man's best friend? To actually have a pet that interacts with you and can have fun?
Besides shitting in a box and giving me severe allergic reactions to the point where I cannot breathe, Cats are just useless.
They seem to hide under beds and behind couches all day and act weird. Then once in a while, they'll come out of hiding to jump inside a shopping bag and make some dumb noises or something. Once that cat nip shit comes out, they'll act like they smoked some PCP and when it wears off, they'll go back into hiding for another 18 hours breaking only to piss in a box.

That's right, dogs are a lot of work, and a lot of fun...unlike cats who want nothing to do with you other than when it's time to get fed.

I agree, I had a cat who I thought was cool but took off when he was 12 years old, the fuck. That cat is nothing compared to my dog MJ, I spent money on a shitload of stupid shit, she was by far the best 50 I decided to not buy beer or weed with. I bought her instead and it was the best move I ever did. And she's independent like a cat, and can be a total C rag to my other dog Gretzky, my grandma, even me. But I without a doubt get the most affection from her and she only listens to me, she won't sit or answer anyone she doesn't want to, but she will with me no matter what, cause she knows who the boss is.
But cats are way more independent than she is, I don't get why people like pets that don't give a shit about them back. Like people with Lizards, those fucking things never show emotion, but I have cousins who think their lizard is cool. I had to ask, how the hell do you know if they're cool or not? And I know cats are different, but they seem similar in the sense that they're just there and don't care if you are or not. Cats are just shit heads, that's the best I can describe it.
And for the record, if you let the dog know who's in charge from the get go, they aren't too much work. All I gotta do is make sure a water bowl is filled, she gets fed once a day, and make sure she gets outside a few times a day. And that was never an issue even as a pup. She would never sleep in the cage, the only time she would go in the cage was during the day when I had to go to school. At night she'd whine and cry all night, from the first night I got her. So I had her sleep in the bed with me, she was 11 weeks in the nook of my arm, tucked right in my arm pit. I thought I was gonna get shit and pissed on for months. Not one accident in 4 months of sleeping in my room. She'd wake me up 3 or 4 times a night by biting my ear, I'd race her outback cause she couldn't climb steps when she was slow on the stairs as a pup so I ran middle of the night back and forth a bunch of times a night, and didn't mind, never had to change any sheets. And she maybe only had 2 accidents on the rug, all piss never shit. she learned fast cause I'm an awesome dad. If dogs are hard work to you guys, it's cause you fucked up. I'm a kick ass dad and that's why she only obeys me. But I never had a problem with her in the 5 years I've had my girl, the only issue is the snacks my grandma gives her so she's like 15 pounds over weight, the fucking fat ass lazy bitch. The dog is pretty lazy too.

James, you had the wrong cat. Our cats certainly show emotion, be it following me right on my heels throughout the house all night, or fighting over who gets to sleep on top of Dana or Emma through the night. They come up, flip over, and start purring, wanting the petting to go down.
These cats are a ball of emotion. I know they are young, but to say they dont care if you are there or not....wow. Disagree. Also, explain how they are now waiting in the window for us to return, now that they know our schedules.

Some cats can be rather aloof, but our little girls are very affectionate. When it's time for bed, we call them & then come running up the stairs to cuddle and sleep with us!

I'm not saying all cats, but I'd say most. Maybe I did have the wrong cat, you guys are lucky in that regard. but I'd still take a dog over a cat, there's just more personality in a dog in my opinion than a cat. And who knows, they might be like this cause they are young like you said, what happens if they change as they get older? I knew people who had kick ass kittens, and they turned into little douche bag cats. That's cool if you're cats are are different, if I still had my awful cat I'd be jealous, but in my experiences, cats are selfish little shits, I have a far more gratifying relationship with my dogs than I ever did with any cat, be it my own, or cats of friends and family. Dogs seem way more personable. But I know there's exceptions.

Last call on these, if anyone is sincerely interested. They need to know by Wednesday, if possible. These cats are headed to the shelter by the weekend. Let me know if you wish to speak of these little gems.
What we have here are two gray tabbies, which are striped from one litter, and another litter of black and whites.

Be very careful that your kittens do not get sick... last night, Dave and I came home to find Ashley very ill & we had to take her to the kitty hospital. Between the labs, x-rays, emergency physician charge, medication, IV and overnight stay, we are talking about dropping a month's rent. She is doing much better and we anticipate being able to bring her home in a few hours, but DAMN it's expensive.
