It was a masterful display of a dramatic comeback that falls just short. You were the king of close but no cigar.

Seriously, you guys aren't worried that I'll sneak in and take the session? I have Mark Buehrle going tomorrow! Who needs 5 starters when you've got Buehrle.

Actually, if Buehrle has too good a night, I'm in trouble in my other league. So T, how's that Cole Hamels thing working out for you? I notice you've been talking an awful lot about your hitting of late...

Yup. I won't win the session, but last night's SP performances were encouraging...
Tom and Larry's 7 SPs combined -- 29 Yovani Gallardo -- 28
Evan had a big night, though. J.P. Howell with the win in relief, and big hitting.

Some bozo just cut Howell in my other league. I dove on that like a wino on a bottle of Mad Dog.

5 starters were too much to overcome as Larry takes the session.
smash-fuckin-mouth 633 Tudor City Hookers 7 609 The Swingin' Dicks 605 High Hard Ones 595.33 Back in black '09 569.33 Hoboken Nine 483.66 Wolftones 480 Country Clubs Finest 466.33 Uggla Stick 436 Just Too Easy 433.67 The Bureau 432 NJ Barflies of LI 410
Larry is now tied with Knoblauch for the most sessions won in a lifetime with 12. People are doing a better job drafting this year than last year. Last year, through 6 sessions, Knoblauch was the overall leader with 3265.33 points. This year, that total would have him in 5th place.

Speaking of Tom, remember he started session 6 with 127 points, so he got 21.3% of his points on the first day, finishing 4th in the session. His team has been relatively cold for two weeks.

Give me a fucking break. 2 weeks ago I was a few points out of 6th, battling a couple of other teams for fourth. Now I am 200 points ahead of the 5th place team.
Larry also passed me by that Tuesday, 2 days after I got those points. So I held pace with him from that point, only 2 days later. So I guess he was cold for those same 12 or so days?
Cut your malarky Balls, or Ill smack you in the head, and Im not joking.
As for you, Larry, its fact that no team has outscored me in the last 2 months including yours. I also find it hilarious that you keep harping on me, while ignoring, well, the teams IN FRONT OF YOU. I get so much attention, Im the man.

Oh, and going back to my point, if I scored ZERO points that first day, I still would have finished in the first half for this session. So thats COLD? Got ya. Must make all those other teams feel like shit.
Think before you talk.

When I made the statement a few days ago, it was fact. Funny thing is in that I am in higher position than I was 2 months ago, so so much for my team being "cold."
Balls, your job as commish is not to be Larrys lapdog.

Of course not. But one job is to be in a position to provide some numbers. You made an interesting claim and I was home when I read it. That put me in a position to check it out and post on it 34 minutes later. I was curious if that was true. You definitely jumped several spots in the last 2 months, bolting past 4 people, but losing ground to one.
Your point that you would have finished in the top half of the session even without that first day was close enough to be accurate. Technically, you would have finished in 7th, but only by a few points. To answer your question, yes, all of those people were ice cold. It was a weird session.

Yes, and considering that no one scores a zero on a Sunday with every team playing, give me the average number for the day the league put up, and I jump even more towards the front. You are slanting the numbers all kinds of the wrong way.
Funny how you look to prove my claims wrong, but never bother to check out your blanket "Larry has the best hitting in the league" until I call you up and nearly pound your head off. Stop paying attention to just ways you can chip me down, and learn to be objective.

i just won 2 straight sessions and you are on here crowing about how your offense is better and how your team is better over the last 2 months and 3 days. do i need to remind you i won the last 2 sessions. dont let facts get in your way tom.
when the smoke clears my offense will surely be better then yours, and my team will be in higher standing overall. just looking at the rosters will show that. you will always have the injury excuse though so grab hold to that like a life vest on the titanic.
