I'm sure when Bret Hart returned, people thought that McMahon pulled off the greatest return to the WWE in years. But on February 1, McMahon will outdo himself. Even better than Hart, even better than Mr. Bob Backlund, McMahon is gifting the WWE fans with an audience with the greatest Canadian ever to set foot in the WWE. Of course I'm talking about the MAN himself...William Shatner. Here is what happens when Jerry Lawler mouthed off to Shatner: Here is the match with Jarrett a week later: www.dailymotion.com/video/x1pc3t_bret-hart-vs-jeff-jarrett_fun

I knew this would have you all agog. I hope Shatner does better on this show than he did on the Hall of Fame show, where he was groaned out of the building.

Me too. I honestly don't expect it to be much different. He'll be there to have fun, but ultimately, he doesn't give a shit about wrestling.
That first time on Raw was handled brilliantly. They'd have to give him something to do like that. Otherwise, it will be a generic nonwrestling host.
Even the Bret Hart thing didn't work well. It was only interesting because of the history and the screwjob. But Hart was seen maybe once except at the beginning and the end.
My favorite host was Ventura because he really was so energetic and overall, it was a great Raw.

Just a reminder that tonight Raw is hosted by the MAN.

While I am not totally stoked for this appearance, it beats people from Psyche or Access Hollywood. I am really thrilled that the word is these silly appearances will stop after Mania. Im more interested in what goes on with Bret Hart tonight. To this point, Hart looks like a wuss, not coming back without this invite to combat Vince's punking him out.

It'll depend on which William Shatner shows up--the one that gives a shit (which we saw back in 1995) or the one that doesn't (which we saw at the HOF induction).
Things are primed for a good Raw though--post Rumble, Hart's return. Both Hart and Shatner have that Canadian connection, and Hart was involved the first time Shatner was on Raw.

While not as good as the monkey flip from years back, Shatner's prat fall on Lawler was absolute genius. Best guest host ever!!!!

They implied that the album is real. I don't know if it is, but I think it could do well.
The Mysterio and Cena songs sucked, but they don't really have words that you notice. The Shawn Michaels and HHH songs were great, especially the HBK one. Shatner singing wrestling themes could be great. Imagine him doing the old school stuff, like Million Dollar Man's theme or Real American.
Shatner is the best host humanly possible.
If only they can book the second best host before they stop the gimmick. I would love to see a Raw hosted by Mr. Bob Backlund.

Who implied that? It is in no ways real, it was a gag for the show that most people forgot about the next day.
WWE would never go in on a thing like that, cause it would involve paying non-contracted talent like Shatner for it.
I cant wait till these hosts are done with, although I will admit I had no problems with how Shatner did. That said, I didnt find the "album" thing nearly as clever as most others seem to have.

Um, by simply saying CD coming soon, that pretty much implies a CD is coming soon.
The highlight of the night for me was the "are you ok" exchange with Lawler.

No they don't. This was clearly false advertising. The funny part is that such a CD would sell. There's a market for that.

Actually the CD would not sell, a few songs would sell on Itunes. Have you been inhaling any dangerous fumes lately?
