I think people are scared. There are 3 people who haven't logged in yet. Two of them are former winners too. One of them never has won. Ever. And he has been in the league a LONG time. No one has been in the league this long without winning once. Not one time. Never. Bupkis.

I mean on Yahoo.
One of them doesn't post on either board at all. One posts maybe 99.5 percent on the other board, and one posts exclusively here.
One draft preview is that you are going to be involved in two major competitions this year--one has already been discussed, and the other will be revealed at the draft.

I was set to log in but Larry made some good points as to why he does not, and I agree with him. It puts us at a disadvantage. We dont want to throw our cards on the table just yet. Ill be logged in over the next couple of days, no worries, but Im not going to put myself at a disadvantage by doing so.

Knoblauchs first title should not even count, cause it was with those skewed closer numbers that you railroaded through on all of us. How much did he pay you for helping him win that one?

Last I checked, you all played under the same rules, and we did convert those numbers to our scoring system, where (s)he still kicked your ass.

That was the year Tom made Randy Johnson the number one pick in the draft coming off 4 straight Cy Youngs. That didn't go so well.
Followed that up with Shawn Green in the second round, still feeling the butthurt from leaving him on the bench for his 4-homer game the year before.
Been a rough go of it for our fearless co-founder.

Here are the final 2003 Standings, based on the 2003 scoring system.
7025 Knoblauch 6376 Scott 6347 Evan 6192.67 Jose 6161.33 Capone 5907.67 Milton 5803 Justin 5700.67 Tom 5646.67 Steve 5227 John 5197.67 Domi 5083.33 Kwik
Here are the 2003 Standings, using today's point values, based on the categories we had then. No hitters exist today. They didn't then, so if there was a no hitter in 2003 in the lineup, not counted. We also didn't have blown saves then, but we didn't have that until I believe 2007 or 2008.
7868 Knoblauch 7318 Scott 7160 Evan 7083.66 Capone 7044.34 Jose 6793 Justin 6738.34 Milton 6596.34 Tom 6567.34 Steve 6370 John 6263.34 Domi 6131.66 Kwik
And since Tom likes the whine about the bullpen, I believe 3 relievers were allowed in 2003, and 2 from then on. So taking the average, here are the standings, using 2/3 of the points given to relievers:
7656 Knoblauch 7154 Scott 6945.66 Capone 6938 Evan 6878.34 Jose 6659 Justin 6554.34 Milton 6428.34 Tom 6383.34 Steve 6328 John 6159.34 Domi 6049.66 Kwik
The only person who can complain is Capone, who probably finishes in the money in 2003 with the modern scoring system, assuming people don't alter their strategies based on the rules, which of course they would have.

Tom knows I'm not saying that. I don't rip on his teams anymore. I find him to be a worthy competitor. There's not much point to killing him over it.
I mean, it's already enough that my face is at the top of this page, while Tom's is only at the bottom.
I see no reason to pour salt in the wound.

But Justin, you have been in the league for 8 seasons. Of course you are on the top of the page. It's been 8 seasons. How can someone in the league for 8 seasons NOT be on the top of the page? Ridiculous thought.

A big Thank you to Sheriff Tom and Family for glacially hosting this Motley Crew. It was good seeing every one. (even Larry & his gas) A sure sign spring is near. I had a good time and lot of laughs. I believe I have drafted a Wining team this year. Pitching win's and I have as strong a staff as any out there. A New year, A new team Name & A NEW Winning Attitude. I see that those players that sank me last year are going to open this year on the D.L. too. Good riddance to them. Ball's you can make the check payable to ...

I'm pretty sure that was Pops.
I mean, I know Tom moves a little slower these days, but I think glacially is a little extreme.

If Tom moved any slower, he'd be going backwards.
