Could you imagine if Pops becomes the first person to finish last, two years straight?

Even though we abandoned the relegation rule, if he did that, we would have to consider booting him.

I'm afraid the Rumors of my demise have been greatly exaggerated. Like a fine sports car. I may not be first off the line, but once I get going there's no stopping this team. They Just a little tune up here and there.

Sports cars get very low mileage.
Phil Hughes was the story of last night, carrying a no hitter into the 8th. Despite losing the no no late, Hughes managed to get a nice 33 point performance--on Jose's bench.
Halladay stole the show, with a 46 point complete game shutout, which propelled John to both the top of the session and the overalls.
I believe this is the first 100 plus night for anyone this season.
Justin's team woke up a bit, with a 70 plus night, and Tom pulled a Pops by scoring only 6 thanks largely to Aaron Harang and his -11.
John--227 Knoblauch--181 Larry--175 Nettles--165 Grover--155 Milton--148 Jose--134 Justin--129 Tom--120 Laura--103 Evan--101 Pops--89

"I believe this is the first 100 plus night for anyone this season."
I'm pretty sure Grover had one the other night with the Jimenez no-hitter and Jose might have had one as well.

Please include all 12 teams in said standings, even those of us who have our entire starting rotation racking up negative amounts of points...
Thanks, John!

No problem.
For the record I'll do the update tomorrow morning, but we're going away all day Saturday into Sunday afternoon so the final session standings won't be up early unless Balls does it. Jw

Thanks again to John for picking up the slack while I was gone.
Holy crap-did Pops bench all his players last week?
What the hell's going on with him? We DID do a draft this year so he could get a new team, right?
So it looks like when I was gone, Grover had a nice run at the top of the session, only to lose out to John, whose team just kicked ass last night, with a 132 pointer. Textbook session stealing.
So Grover's streak now runs to 49, and John gets the duke.

Hell of a night by JW. I knew going into the last few nights I wasn't going to get this session, especially when I saw Halladay against the limp bat Mets.
Although Lester might have woken up though, which is good news for me.

Nice job by John to keep Grover's winless streak alive. It is much appreciated.
Nice to see some different faces atop the leaderboard, though I wish it weren't at my expense.
