Thanks for the old news. That was in Sundays paper.
The guy seems like a real loser. I hope he's never found and the apparent martyrdom he is seeking is not obtained. His friends have sought to help him, offered him work, all that, and he just ran off on them. Apparently hes another who has been "despondent" for no discernable reason. Well, thats "Hollywood!"

Just read 7 tourists were killed when their light plane crashed on a tour of an archeological site in Southern Peru.
I think they should leave the wreck and bodies there so they can be viewed in 100,000 years as relics on future archeological trips.

Disabled AC/DC Fan Impaled At Brisbane Concert - Feb. 28, 2010 News.com.au reports: A quadriplegic AC/DC fan suffered serious facial injuries when a mate accidentally hit the joystick of his motorised wheelchair and catapulted him into the mosh pit during a concert at the Queensland Sport and Athletic Centre on Saturday night.
Witnesses said a metal pin used by the 31-year-old Morningside man to manoeuvre objects became a spear and imbedded in his eye as his chair crashed more than a metre to the centre's floor.

Took place in Washington Township, NJ yesterday. Shit is messed up. The manager came on right after and apologized, but the damage is done.

Blurb from USA TODAY - statewide sections. OKLAHOMA - Fairfax "A farm where portions of the movie TWISTER were shot was heavily damaged by a real tornado. Scenes for the 1986 movie were shot at J Berry Harrison Sr's farm here, about 120 miles Northeast of Oklahoma City. A real tornado hit the farm last week when a half-dozen twisters touched down in the state. Harrison said he lost 2 houses, 5 barns, 2 silos, a horse, and farm equipment."

Sex Game Leads to Five Teen Pregnancies
Foxnews.com Thursday, May 27, 2010
Five young female students from Poland are pregnant after engaging in a sex game with male students, thenews.pl reported.
The students, who are between the ages of 14 and 15, became pregnant after playing a game called “the sun” or “a star.”
“Girls lay on the floor in a circle with their heads together and eyes closed and boys copulate with them, taking turns,” one of the students revealed to the news agency. “The winner was the boy who managed to finish the intercourse last.”
Two of the five girls have already given birth, according to the school’s headmaster.
Prosecutors are investigating, but they said the parents and teachers of the teenagers from the northern town of Ostrodo are not willing to cooperate. According to the report, sex education is lacking at the school, with no one to talk to the students about how such games can lead to pregnancy.

I enjoy stories like this.
Turns out there is this rare giant earthworm found mostly in Washington State and Idaho of all places. Grows up to a foot long. Well, apparently some environmentalists wanted it to be declared "endangered" and lost in a lower-court. It was appealed to the US Circuit Court of Appeals, and they lost again.
LOL! Sorry, no "endangered-species protection" for you!

Well, so the papers are all agog about that whale that jumped from the water and crushed that yacht. Sadly no one was hurt. Anyway, kudos to the Daily News, who apparently ran with a header of "Call me Squish-mael"

Drunk woman falls from moving motor home, seriously injured
October 19, 2010 11:08 PM Jeff Barker - Daily News
DEFUNIAK SPRINGS – A 55-year-old woman suffered serious injuries after she fell out of a motor home that was traveling on Interstate 10.
About 4 p.m. Tuesday, three people from Midland City, Ala., were heading westbound on I-10 a few miles from the U.S. Highway 331 exit in a 1975 Dodge motor home when Sharon R. Glover walked to the rear of the motor home to use the restroom, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. Glover somehow fell out of the vehicle and slid 100 feet on the paved emergency lane before hitting the grass shoulder.
“It is unknown if the passenger opened the wrong door or leaned on the door,” an FHP news release said.
The driver, 50-year-old Bonnie J. Rickett, noticed that Glover had fallen out of the motor home and pulled off the road about a quarter mile west of where she hit the ground, the release said. Glover was taken to Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola with serious injuries.
Rickett was not under the influence of alcohol, but Glover had been drinking, the release said. Another passenger, 53-year-old Stanley J. Rickett, was also in the motor home.
No charges are pending.

I'm amazed that anything built by shitty-assed Dodge in 1975 is still running.

Last night on the 11 PM news they ran a story about college kids voting via absentee ballot. They interviewed a Sophomore who stated that she FORGOT that she could vote. Thank God ACORN is out of business.

Agreed. Seems the end is imminent. First man to win 100+ games in both leagues.
