So the All Star Break, combined with the distractions of Steinbrenner's and Sheppard's deaths, plus the weekend, means this is the first update in awhile. The Grover watch continues as he has a comfortable lead at the top of the overalls, but still has failed to win a session. However, with a full week to go and only a 35 point deficit, it's definitely not beyond the scope of possibility. Yet Jose, owner of the most underachieving team in the league, is on top, with John, Milton and Knoblauch within fighting distance.

Jose has a commanding lead in the session. Jose was one of the preseason favorites to take the whole thing.
Could his team pull a miracle comeback like Justin in 2004?
Meanwhile, Grover has a very big lead in the overalls, yet hasn't won a session. I don't think any league winner has gone a full season without a session win.

Internet problems at work (which are still ongoing), and the All Star Break, have made updates scarce this session, but if there is one consistency, it is Grover's failure to win.
Grover has pulled to within one session of the record for futility as his session winless streak hits 55. The record that many thought would never be broken, is in serious jeopardy. If Grover does not win session 9, he will claim a tie.
But this session belongs to Jose, who has now taken 2 out of the last 3 sessions.
