Sorry about the long delay in getting the session 9 standings up. The internet went down at work last week, and they didn't get it back up until I had to leave YESTERDAY. It really sucked here dealing with that.
I guess it may be a sign of league apathy, but I didn't get one single complaint. No emails, no texts. No one gave me any shit. Appreciated.
In the meantime, Matt Garza pitched a no hitter, for the man chasing history--Grover. Yet, despite it still being fairly early in the session, Grover is NOT in the lead. Pops has the edge. However, this is the first session I can remember that no single person is off to a pathetic start. No one is truly out of it yet.
Pops--213 Grover--209 Larry--185 Laura--182 Tom--179 Nettles--164 John--152 Milton--152 Jose--147 Justin--146 Knoblauch--143 Evan--140

The baseball gods punished Pops for his insolence.

At this point, it's safe to say that Grover has an insurmountable lead, and will win this session easily. He will win, one shy of the record books.

Grover doesn't have a big lead, but he's still in total control. John's closeness is not real, because he had 4 starters go yesterday, and will have a hard time scoring until Friday. Tom is in shape to make a run. Did I just start a sentence with Tom is in shape?

Grover is cruising along in the session. Tom is sneaking up behind him, but Grover's got this.

Grover continues to dominate the session as he edges closer to finally breaking his session losing streak at 55.

If Grover doesn't win this session, and he stabs you, he has legal justification.

Tom is sneaking up behind him. Now That just congers up a visions of Fred "twinkle toes" Flintstone's lol Wow how about Vicente Padilla Last week I have him in Vs the Pod's & he goes a Big 4 innings & gets the Solons a whopping 5 pt's. So this week I bench him vs. the Pod's & he gets 50 points for my bench last night.

Grover continues to run away with the session, as we enter the final update. With 3 starters to go, it does look like Grover's streak will end at 55, one short of the record books.
I can't see anyone catching him.

Congratulations to Grover for TYING the record for most consecutive session losses at 56.
Grover has not won a session in 8 years and counting.
Emma Brown was not even born the last time Grover won a session. Will Grover take control of the record alone? Or will he share the record forever? Time will tell.
Oh, and Tom wins the session this time.
