I'm not crazy about it, but there are bigger fish to fry.
I'm sick of his over-managing. I think the kid probably could have finished the chalupa.

I suppose, but I still think he is great with the pen--especially compared to Torre. Things are going to get worse before they get better--top players are aging and the free agent pool over the next couple seasons sucks.

Im not enamored with the move. But nothing has changed, I wasnt happy when he was announced as manager either. He has done little to change my thinking. As to us being a winner under him, with that payroll the Yankees should find a way to win even if they had given the job to George Steinbrenners singing granddaughter.

When you have high draft picks every year, you should be able to win without the payroll, yet teams like the Pirates can't even get to .500. Payroll is just a means to an end.
