Ah, figured this would be a point of contention in the wrestling world. For an upcoming DVD, the WWE saw fit to rate the top 50 Greatest Superstars of all time. Instead of using a safe system where they were not assigned designations, they were...see below. Let the debate begin! Especially regarding Flair and Hogan. Thanks to www.f4wonline.com for below. Speaking of Michaels, for the new 50 Greatest Superstars of All Time DVD, he was ranked number one. The top fifty are Michaels, Undertaker, Steve Austin, Bret Hart, Rock, Harley Race, Ricky Steamboat, Andre the Giant, Rey Mysterio and Roddy Piper. The rest of the top 50, from number 10 on, is Eddie Guerrero, HHH, Gorgeous George, Randy Savage, Curt Hennig, John Cena, Ric Flair and Dusty Rhodes (tied at 17) (?), Edge, Jerry Lawler, Lou Thesz, Terry Funk, Hulk Hogan, Bruno Sammartino (24), Chris Jericho, Ted DiBiase, Fabulous Moolah, Fred Blassie, Randy Orton, Pat Patterson, Iron Sheik, Jimmy Snuka, Mick Foley, Kurt Angle, Buddy Rogers, Gorilla Monsoon, JYD, Billy Graham, Jake Roberts, Big Show, Jack Brisco, Sgt. Slaughter, Kane, Nick Bockwinkle, Jeff Hardy, Dory Funk Jr., Bob Backlund, Ric Rude, Batista and, at number 50, Killer Kowalski. Don't bother getting upset over any of this, it's not worth it. It's comically bad. To not have Hogan and Flair 1 and 2, with Sammartino at 3, pretty much says the list isn't worth bupkis. It's about as meaningful as Palmeiro winning the Gold Glove or Obama winning the Nobel Peace Prize.
