Freakz, how many times do we have to cover this.
Not every player who is dirty got caught. This is simply people that are implicated with evidence. Maybe Boone and Anderson skated cause no one implicated them, and there is no paper trail.

Lot of Yankees, but how did Chuck Knoblauch make the list. Don't steroids make you better? He got worse.

I remember a game in Oakland on Friday, April 4, 1997 (N) at Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum. Giambi (1,8th inning off Weathers 1 on 0 out). he hit it up in to the right field bleachers on a line drive rocket. I was in disbelief @ how fast that ball got out on a line drive. that shoot always has stood out in my mind as something was not right !!!

Well, they did admit on the FAN that the ONLY thing they have on Clemens is that guys word. There is no paper trail, no cancelled checks, no FAILED DRUG TESTS...
Its he said / he said. And that is why there will never be any punishment, and his Hall of Fame votes are safe.

Jeremy Giambi has to be the biggest waste of steroids ever.

This is a lot more than one word against another. Let Clemens PROVE he didn't do it. He has the burden now.

How should Clemens go about proving there's no paper trail and no cancelled checks? By not providing a paper trail and cancelled checks, I guess. I think he can handle that.

There wouldn't have been 8 pages dedicated to him if there wasn't something to it. Burden of proof has been shifted. You think paying cash or having a lackey means you're innocent?
Not providing canceled checks doesn't cut it.

Balls, why you were away you had anal sex with a Jamaican man who had a wooden leg and an eyepatch. I am going to tell everyone.
Prove you didnt do that.
Thank you.

As much as it pains me to say, Balls has a point. If Clemens is truly innocent, he will sue MLB and or Mitchell.

HA! No that was funny, Furious.
Yeah really Balls...for a LAWYER to assume that burden of proof is lies on Clemens, guilty until proven innocent, is ridiculous. Same for Pettitte.
Tainted 90s? Gimme a fuckin' break. What's so tainted about it - yeah those early exits from playoff games for Clemens and his mediocre performance in 99 really drove us to the championship....thanks God we had Pettitte and his alleged juicing in Game 6 of the 2001 World Series, right?

Um....Mitchell had the burden, and met it. Now Clemens has to prove his innocence. Let him rebut the charges.
Not all evidence has to be a smoking gun. Two Yankee championships got tainted thanks to this report.

Those players also got the Yankees into those playoffs.
By the way, no surprise - Clemens denying all, strongly.

why not '98 and '96? Andy was on both, Stanton and Knobloch on '98?
Balls is right, I'm curious to see what Clemens says.

Clemens denies all.
Someone on ESPN just made a good point - we are relying on essentially the word of a "Mets batboy" for most of this mess.

"They were won by juiced players. "
Really? Says who? Show me the failed drug tests. Show me ANYTHING other than anecdotal and circumstantial evidence. ANYTHING, please....I'm waiting.
And don't give me this Barry Bonds hypocrisy shit either....alledgedly there ARE failed drug test results in existence for Barry Bonds. Big difference in Bonds breaking a sacred record with a failed drug test on his resume in the midst of the pursuit of the record, and an already convicted steroid-dealer throwing out a laundry list of names of people he allegedly provided roids for. The difference is IMMENSE.
I'm not excusing Pettitte or Clemens for their actions, if true...I'm saying, show me the emphatic proof. I'm not ready to go down that slippery slope of convicting people based on testimony from shady people with an agenda.

One claim is that the guy who implicated Clemens and Pettitte, among others, did so after being warned that if he did not come up with any names he would go to jail.
That guy who pointed fingers may backtrack on this stuff himself before this is through...
