Jericho most certainly did NOT rock the house. That Queer Eye guy was good. And I do love Carlton.
What's w/ Jericho looking like Kenickie from Grease in that get-up. GREASED LIGHTNING, GO, GREASED LIGHTNING!!

Well, with Jericho beating a hasty retreat I throw in my lot with Carlton. After all, he promises to do the Carlton dance if he makes the finals.
All this said, Jericho was not the worst tonight...he was like the 2nd or maybe the 3rd worst out of 8. The judges didnt like him from the get-go, you could tell. Well, I always have my Fozzy discs.
This sow really sucked. The singing was terrible, and its going to fizz. Who knows, they may not make all 5 weeks.

Only Xena, Carlton, and the two homos can sing. The others stunk. Felt bad for Cheech. Jericho was better than the gymnast AND Cheech. I called it from before Jericho sang his first song that they were going to boot him. I think it was part of the pompous Hollywood thing and prejudice against Jericho because he was a wrestler.
The gymnast was the worst.
Funny seeing Marie Osmond accuse someone of being too white.

Oh God that was terrible!! Jericho was really bad. I had to turn it off. The fairy and Carlton weren't too bad though.

Yeah, the show itself was absolutely terrible. The judges were awful, and Little Richard seemed to forget where he was a few times. This is the sort of show that does not need to be put on live. They need to pretape it and cut out all the garbage, and dress it up a little before people realize it is nothing but some really terrible singing.

I think it was a bit learn as you go for them. If you notice, they were running short on time, so they basically told the singers to take a hike after they sang. I had to laugh when Smokey Robinson commented on how one of the homos "could blow."
Little Richard may not really be alive. That may have been his decomposing corpse and some pretaped "wooos!"

Vinny, I cant blame ya. We were only tuning in for Jericho and Carlton. Sad to say, Carlton will probably stick around and we are stuck watching. Once he's gone, we're gone. But I must explain...shows like this, we have on and we "watch" per se, but not so much. For example, the whole show I was reading first my newspapers, and then my new WWE Magazine. When something/someone I want to see kicks up, I lower the publication and watch it. So we are not really investing too much valuable time, as we would be watching TV at that time anyway.
Here is some more glum news for you guys...this show is on TWICE A WEEK, Thursdays AND Fridays. Thats another way to kill the audience. I mean, is this necessary?

I guess it's on more often because they want to end it in 5 weeks. I wonder if others feel the same way about Carlton. Since it's live, I wonder if there will be pressure to get him to do "It's Not Unusual."

OK this was awful...but the girl..I can't remember her name....she was the WORST!!! and my god all of these people are in some type of show business why do they have absolutely no stage presence...they look totally freaked out.
Jay was the best...but he started on broadway...kinda unfair to the rest of them.
Little Richard is the Paula of this show....HIGH ALL THE TIME! what the hell was that boots comment?

I bet pity had something to do with the gymnast not getting eliminated.
Carlton started out on Broadway too, as the tap dance kid. He also was in a commericial with Michael Jackson.

Doing tap dance versus playing Angel in Rent are two different ballgames.

The guy was the lead in a broadway show at something like 12 years old. That said, the homo is a good singer.

Carly Paterson was the WORST and Lea Thompson was a close second. Cheech was pretty awful too. And I am sad to see Jericho go because quite frankly I'd rather look at him than Cheech. ; )
Predictable that Jai Rodriguez and Carlton will be the final two.
Balls, who is the other "homo?" in the sentence "Only Xena, Carlton, and the two homos can sing."

I wonder how many people watching knew that Chris Jericho has fronted a band for 3 major label releases with his band Fozzy. The first 2 offerings were mainly 80s metal covers, and its quite a decent listen, although Jericho is even out of pitch with his metal band. The 3rd one is a lot more ambitious, all original tunes, and its taken me a while to get used to. Jericho is a zany frontman, which made the "you should be fronting a band somewhere" comment and the "what a good idea" retort from Jericho so amusing to me last night. I always enjoy hearing Jericho belt out such tunes as Accepts "Balls to the Wall," Maiden's "Where Eagles Dare" and "The Prisoner", Ozzy's "Over the Mountain" and Motley Crue's "Livewire."

I love The Prisoner and find Jericho's version of it quite enjoyable.
I remember one week a few years ago I was covering for someone in our Farmingdale branch and one of the girls there was all excited that she was going to RAW at the Coliseum and then heading over to The Downtown for a Fozzy show. I was kinda jealous.

The other homo is the guy who sang the first song with Smokey and then sang with Gladys Knight.

I figured he's really a homo. Flutgirl is better at judging these things though.

Def a fairy right up there with John Travolta and Tom Cruise, he just doesn't realise it yet like them.
And this was the top watched show in its time slot??

Well, if it was, it wont be next week. This show is being universally panned. One review I read had it best - it said, "no one is good enough to make you want to turn in, and no one is horror show train wreck bad enough to make you want to tune in." The bulk of the singers are average, and boring. This show sucks.

Carlton needs to pull out "It's Not Unusual" to save it. But here's a question--if the show was live, why did they have a clip of Carlton singing, "Don't Let the Sun Go Down On Me?"

The second episode aired last night and the third airs tonight. Lea Thompson is still mighty hot. I didn't even care if she could sing.
These celebrities just aren't that good.
But there was one VERY funny moment. It's possible I misheard, and I'll check the DVR when I get home, but I could have sworn one of the judges actually called Carlton, CARLTON.
The bottom line is, these celebrities just aren't that good at singing. None of them really impress me anymore. The show is really about Carlton. I'm with the group of people that will stop watching when he's gone. I don't care who wins.

Yeah, as soon as Carlton is gone, we're gone. The show is bad enough to where a part of me wishes he was gone tonight, so we could stop immediatly.
Who cares if the judge called him Carlton? Thats how 98% of the people watching know him. Even if it was a flub, its not "funny." The fact that we are looking for something so silly to be funny shows what we think of this mess. Last night I was reading old wrestling newsletters and playing on Google Earth at times during the show. So its on, but as I covered, its not really "on" for us.

Most celebrities hate it when you call them by their character names. Someone in the industry doing it is funny.

I watched Hal Sparks w/ the Judd chick, Leah Thompson with Belinda Carlisle, and Cheech with Clint Black last night.
It was too painful to watch, so I put on my OZ DVDs.
