I was watching The Crying Game the other night and realized that for some reason, Forest Whitaker really annoys me. This is more than just a mild feeling. Ever since his recent 6-episode appearance on ER, when I see his crooked face or hear his slurry voice, I want to hit him.
Maybe I am just an angry person.
I also need to mention David Caruso, whose appalingly bad acting is pretty annoying. He dramatically improved NYPD Blue with his departure, and I think he could do the same for CSI: Miami. Dave found a video on iFilm or someplace that is just clips of Caruso one-liners from the intro scene of CSI:Miami, and after watching that it is very hard to watch him "act" his way through an entire episode, especially right after you eat.

If you think Forest Whitaker is bad, you should watch him in some re-runs from this past season of The Shield.
That said, good idea for a thread, here's my short list:
1.Scarlett Johansson 2.Keira Knightley 3.George Clooney 4.Chloe Sevigny

Forest Whitaker is now one of my favorite actors of all time, stemming off of what he did on The Shield. I had never seen him before. And I am not alone in what I thought of him on The Sheild, he was met with much acclaim, and I cant wait for the return of the character this coming season.
Whats with the hate?

I don't know if there's enough bandwidth for my list, but the ones that come to mind right off the bat: Paris Hilton
Morissey (sorry, Laura, but we have to agree to disagree -- if you're going to put out a dozen CDs of putrid music about killing yourself, just go and fucking do it already)
Lindsay Lohan
Britney Spears
Fatso and Fruit Loops from WFAN
Pay-Wad
Joan Rivers
agreed on Barbara Streisand
and tons more.

I cannot explain my reaction to Forest Whitaker... maybe it is because his character on ER was so loathesome, but I think Jody was supposed to be a likable character, and my reaction was visceral.

Josh Hartnet - I seriously don't think there is such a thing as a good Josh Hartnet movie. His on-screen personality is as bland as the movies he stars in. Brutal.
Sharon Stone - from her hoity toity attitude in real-life to her overrated status as a sex-symbol, this bitch truly annoys me in every way possible.
Jamie Foxx - I hate this asshole's attempt at being some sort of rennaisance man. Kevin Spacey blew his ass out of the water in portraying a former musical legend in the same year (Beyond The Sea versus Ray), but because in this day and age in Hollywood it's hip to co-opt black/hip-hop culture, Foxx got all the hype. His comedy act is nothing more than the stereotypical black comedian shtick - "White guys talk funny" and "A sistah would never put up wit dat" jokes. And let's face, with today's modern technology they can turn anyone into a pop-singer - i.e. Jamie Foxx, Paris Hilton, Brooke Hogan, etc...

Joaquin Phoenix was also better in Walk the Line than Jamie Foxx was in Ray, in my opinion. (Didn't see Beyond the Sea.)
You know who is annoying? Patrick Dempsey. Stupid Dr. McDreamy.

Robin Williams - if you've seen Good Morning Vietnam, no need to ever watch another Robin Williams movie. It's the same manic act over and over and over.
Robin Williams was brilliant in Moscow On The Hudson - he should have stopped there.
