I swear, I have never even heard of this show. Does Bravo not advertise?
The links you attached do not work, but I will try to open from home. Is this show worth a burn? I would not mind finding a new show to watch.
Theres a new show starting Sunday on Spike - 8 parts, all covering a bank robbery turned hostage crisis. Looks pretty ok. But I shall dig up what i can and read your stufff on Mad Men.

Way to mix up the networks! I recorded the wrong show!
Just foolin. Have it DVRd, have not yet watched. Here is a staggering fact about the show....they say 1.6 million tuned in to the premeire....1 million of them were over 50 years of age!!!!!!!!!!!
This show is trending OLD and REAL ad-men are not happy about it.

Well, after all this time, I suppose I can speak. We've been watching, but we were behind. I had about 5 episodes backed up on the DVR till this past week, and we blew through them in the last few days.
Like the show. I really do. I like the characters, I like the way they are pulling off the period piece. This all said, whats funny is after what, like 7 or 8 episodes, I cant really think of any major plot points that have gone down. I guess things are moving along slowly. Its seems to be stuck in neutral.
But again, we're watching.

Ok, I had been meaning to say this. Not only do we not plan on hopping back on board for the coming season, whenever it hits, but I regret ever watching it.
We have dutifully watched every episode. I remember joking that we were not sure why, nothing ever happened, and at times it was just trite. The show seemed written with only winning awards in mind, at some points.
Now that we can look back on it, we cant figure out why we stuck it out. We had a unanimous vote in our home, 2-0, to never watch, or speak of it again. Jon Hamm is a dick, the next George Clooney our ass. Not that I give a hoot about Clooney, no how.
Honestly, Mad Men is supremely overrated, pretty boring, and full of itself. I wish it was cancelled, and I am sorry we watched it. The whole cast can take their Golden Globes and stuff them.
