Jackass? Cho? Nettles? Anyone? Hey, Nettles, you turned me on to Mad Men, this is another AMC production.
Holy f'ing Hell. This show was something to be seen, I like. I remember hearing the plotline a few weeks ago, and I was like, ok, I am there. On top of that it was under the AMC flag, and after the quality of Mad Men I was keen.
You got the Malcolm in the Middle dad. I cant speak on him before this, cause I have never seen Malcom in the Middle. But people are raving about his performance....on a TVGUIDE.COM poll, 96% of the respondents were agog with his performance....only 4 % thought he was either overdoing it, or doing it wrong. When is the last time you saw 96% of the people agreeing on ANYTHING???
PLOT - chemistry teacher diagnosed with lung cancer, and goes into the meth business with an ex-student to cache some cash.
It goes from there. Blue language (inexplicably beeped on my broadcast), sex, violence, plot twists and turns. And that was all hour 1.
CATCH A REPLAY AND HOP ON. You know I rarely endorse anything on TV.

Looking forward to it, too.

My cable company carries it in Hi Def on demand, but does not carry AMC in Hi Def during broadcast.
I will watch On Demand.

I hadn't even heard about it. But based on the plot alone, I will get on it right away.
Does it take place in the I.E.?

New Mexico.
Episode two was great. The wife is a bit annoying, but I think that is one of the things that makes him "break bad". Funny when he told her to "just climb down out of my ass for once."

hey honey, i hope you saved episode 2 for me!
i liked the first one, though i think i still need some warming up. it's slow and shot in such dull tones and i was very sleepy at the time. it reminded me of an old 70s movie or something. i'll give it another try

Uh oh...the ol' "why did you delete that" Tivo argument. I've had a few of those when I have prematurely deleted The Soup.

The Soup runs about 12 hours a day, though.
I have decided to burn all episodes of this show onto DVD like I did with Season Two of Brotherhood

Just finished the second episode. Didn't like it as much as you guys did. It's not like it was The Shield or anything. But it wasn't bad. The chemistry teacher looks like a live version of Ned Flanders.
The show is decent.
And Vinny, it is on demand in Manhattan. I don't know if your Time Warner has the same channel lineup as mine, but if it does, try Channel 1005, Entertainment on Demand. It was there.

The chemistry teacher looks like a live version of Ned Flanders.
He's supposed to. Do you understand that the premise is a meek and mousy guy delves into the dark realms while facing his own demise? Perhaps you missed that part.
Figures you would be the one person who saw the show that can find anything wrong with it. I find it tremendously amusing that someone who watches "Gossip Girl" calls this show simply "decent."

On Demand doesn't have any more episodes listed. THey have episodes one and two and that is all.
Did something happen to this show?

The show was decent. Watchable. But it wasn't like I was watching Sopranos or the Shield. And not all chemistry teachers look like Ned Flanders. I find it hard to believe that when it came to making this character alive, they decided to specifically make him look like Ned Flanders.
The show itself is decent. I liked the whole acid thing.

Jackass, they took a break last Sunday as to not compete with the Super Bowl. It returns TONIGHT, with episode 3.

Stupid OnDemand. I wanted to catch up on Breaking Bad. I watched the 1st 2 episodes. So I go to OnDemand and I see they had episode 102 and 103. When dealing with most TV shows, the first number is the season, the second number would be the episode number of that season. That would mean episode 3, Season 1, would be 103.
So I watched it. Good episode, but something didn't seem right. It was in the middle of the episode when the thought entered my head that maybe I was watching the FOURTH episode. That made more sense because stuff from the second episode was not being followed up.
Sure enough, when I finished, I put on episode 102 to double check. The episode description could easily have applied to the second episode of the show. "Following up on the events of last week." But I clearly realized that 102 was the third episode, and those bastards must have called the pilot episode 100. Episode 0? What a bunch of dicks.
At least I'm caught up.

Why are you watching on OnDemand anyway? The show is only on THREE times each Sunday night, and repeated through the week. If you are watching every episode of this show, why not DVR it?
Anyway, good show. And you are not totally caught up, episode 5 was last night.

On at 10, 11, and also at 1AM.
Fine, watch on "your own terms" which apparently are OUT OF ORDER.

And I will be asleep during those hours. Even if I were awake, I would not be watching that show, which is decent, but not must see TV.
Now that I know the secret of their ridiculous numbering system, this mistake will not happen again. Therefore, I win.

Yeah...not "must see" TV although after you thought you caught up and realized you didnt, you went back to watch an older episode to catch up. A lot of effort for something that is "decent." You know what I do with "decent" shows? I ignore them, I dont have time for them.
Balls, we all know you pretend to not like the show cause you did not stumble upon it yourself, and you cant give anyone any sort of credit for anything. So do us a favor, and stop watching it.

i finally got to catch up on episodes 3-5 last night. it was a little sluggish between 4-5, but thats probably because i watched 3 episodes in a row
i really enjoy this show. the story is developing nicely, and i dig the character development (i HATE his wife, skyler)
