My cousin goes to OSU so I root for them but I really don't have a favorite. I just like watching, I can't get into it if I don't go to that college.

Miami may go through seven quarterbacks if they don't do something about this O-line, and quickly. I've never seen more defenders have direct, unblocked paths to the QB. For the second year in a row, what an UGLY game FSU-Miami was. And I'm not just saying that because I'm mad that the Canes lost. Brutal, brutal football by both teams.

ND penalties were brutal in their game. I really hope Charlie kicks their asses this week in practice for all the penalties. They got a tough road ahead, and will never win it all playing like they did Saturday night.

Yeah, what I saw of the Notre Dame game was pretty ugly, too, but nowhere near as painful to watch as FSU-Miami.

Here's one way to move up the depth chart:
GREELEY, Colo. -- The University of Northern Colorado's reserve punter was arrested Tuesday, accused of stabbing his rival in his kicking leg.
Mitch Cozad, a sophomore from Wheatland, Wyo., allegedly attacked starting punter Rafael Mendoza in a parking lot in Evans on Monday night, Evans police Lt. Gary Kessler said.
Mendoza, the Bears' first-string punter from Thornton, was treated and released from the North Colorado Medical Center Monday night. Coach Scott Downing said Mendoza will not punt for UNC in Saturday's game at Texas State University.
"I don't know how long he'll be out because I haven't talked to the doctor," Downing said.
Cozad, Mendoza and freshman Zak Bigelow had been in a three-way race for the starting punter's job in preseason training. Mendoza has averaged 37.6 yards per punt on nine punts in the two games so far this season.
Cozad is facing second-degree assault charges and was scheduled to appear in court Wednesday for a bond hearing. He was suspended from the team, evicted from his residence and expelled from school on Tuesday, The Greeley Tribune reported.
The Associated Press contributed to this report.

MSB- The Washington and Lee Generals are no shabby squad. I played baseball against W&L throughout college and they always had a good team. Their football team was always decent too and they have some big boys out in Western VA, Cheers to your F&M Diplomats.

Seeing Notre Dame get their asses handed to them only took a little bit of the sting off realizing just how pathetic the Miami Hurricanes are this season. Louisville's an excellent team, but how about maybe showing up? Assholes.

I don't know if any of you had hear Lamar Thomas' (former University Of Miami player) ridiculous, irresponsible on-air comment regarding the brawl between Miami and Florida Internation University...he basically rattled off a bunch of thuggish machismo about defending "our house" and other malarky.
So Thomas came on Dan Patrick a little while ago trying to back-peddle.
He'll be 86'd

Michael Irvin said that it's almost embarassing for Miami that they even acknowledged Florida International enough to engage in such a mess....almost an admittance that they've fallen to the ranks of mediocre programs.

I ended up commenting on this in the Steve Lyons thread, but to add something - Thomas actually went so far as to lay a heap of the blame on THE REFS. He said there was a lot of crossover between the two teams (the a lot of guys went to high school together, played one another through the ranks, and familiarity breeds comtempt sort of thing) and he says the refs should have told the teams to behave beforehand.

Interesting day: No. 3 USC loses to Oregon St., and Nos. 1 and 2 (Ohio St. and Michigan) play each other in a couple of weeks.
This thing is WIDE open.

LOL @ this. Another announcer in the soup. Brian Kinchen, who played 12 years of NFL football as a tight end, has been suspended from his role on ESPNU for a comment he made during Saturdays Northern Illinois-Iowa game. He talked about receivers needing "tender hands" to "caress balls" and then added, "thats kind of gay."
ESPN is now "reviewing his status" and Kinchen has apologized for "completely inappropriate" remarks.

Anyone still think Schiano is leaving Rutgers for Miami? What a horror show that program has become. RIP Bryan Pata.
