USC coach Pete Carroll is interested in the Atlanta Falcons' head coach opening and is expected to speak with Atlanta owner Arthur Blank via phone Wednesday, sources at the American Football Coaches Convention in Anaheim told ESPN's Joe Schad.
Why would he leave one of the top 3 coaching jobs in the country. USC will pay him whatever he wants, also hasn't he tried this with two teams already.

I thought when he went where he's at, he was emphatic that he had his job for life.
This stuff never works for these dopes. I dont want to see that idiot prowling the NFL sidelines again.

He's not leaving SC unless he is nearing the point where he wants to retire and take one last crack at the NFL. Something tells me he's not the Joe Paterno type, so this maybe the case.

LOL @ the whole idea of coaches' contracts. They mean about as much as "Of COURSE I'll call you!"

ESPN Radio was also hinting that there might be more trouble for USC from the perks Reggie Bush allegedly received.
