At this point in the season how big a lead do you need to feel comfortable? 200? 300? If you were in first place what lead would someone feel safe with?

It's virtually impossible to accumulate enough of a lead in April to feel comfortable.

I know it is May tomorrow, but seriously, it is too early to feel comfortable with any lead (or disheartened by any deficit.) Anyone could get hurt or have a ridiculous career year, and there's no way of knowing that... It doesn't happen often, but 200 points can be made up in a session. I *might* fell confident with a 300 point lead at the All Star break, but still not comfortable... but hey, take that from someone who is presently 49 points down in the hot seat...

In 2004, after 2 sessions, Justin was 381.67 points behind the leader.
A month later, after session 4, he was still 357.33 points behind.
After session 5, he was 407.33 points behind, and Milton was in first place. That was on June 13.
That was when his run started.
