I can't do these every day this week (at least not in the morning), so someone will have to do this. I intended to, but I will be out on the road the next two days. Laura, T.J., whoever, you can post if you want the numbers in the morning.
Suzy had the big day yesterday with 4 SPs going, so she leads the session for a change. Whoop-dee-doo.
Suzy 107.66 Larry 73 Anthony 57 T.J. 56 Evan 53 Justin 47.33 Milton 42 Pops 33 Neil 28.67 Jose 22 Laura 20.67 Mike 10

I'm not online in the morning that often, so if no one else has updated by the time I can get here, I'll do it...
BTW, after doing a triple take on this post, my first thought was "who the hell is Mike?" It's like referring to Grover as "John."

The hot news of the night is Jose jumping ahead of Justin and Knoblauch in the overalls... I predict more long posts about eggs, balls and bottles of booze. Neil had a big night, actually getting 3 Ws out of his SP, getting him another 50 points farther from relegation, for now...
Oh, and look, Suzy is going to win another session.
Suzy-- 171.66 Neil-- 158.67 Larry- 150.00 Jose-- 138.00 Capone-- 131.00 Tom-- 119.34 Justin-- 109.33 Evan-- 108.67 Laura-- 106.00 Milton-- 100.33 Pops-- 98.33 Knoblauch--62.00

Seriously. You guys got to stop whining on here like a bunch of quitters. Yeah, she is having a Hell of a time of it, but enough of the whimpering like lapdogs.
Just play and see if you can make a dent. And please stop conceding everything to her all the time.

No one in the history of this league has ever won 3 sessions in a row.
Suzy has won 2 straight, and is winning the third.
Larry has the best run of all time, having taken 4 out of 5.

Stop whining. It takes more time to do the standings than it does to make a post that's a couple of sentences.
So while I was gone, Suzy continued to pummel this league into submission. Can this juggernaut be stopped?
Neil is the only one within 50 points of her--barely.
At the rate she's going, she could beat Larry's record for the most money won in a season.
She is certainly working on a historic 3rd straight session victory.
That said, Neil was the big winner on the night, with 89 points. Evan was the loser with 12.
Tom, who finished in second place in 2005, is now 12 points out of 11th place. Rough week for the sheriff.
Here are your standings:
Suzy--427.67 Neil--379 Justin--342.33 Jose--338.33 Knoblauch--292 Larry--285.33 Laura--280.33 Capone--273 Milton--257 Pops--255.33 Tom--254.33 Evan--221

And 53 points out of 3rd place.
So what?

Another day, another chance for Suzy to continue her pounding of the league. She's now up by 500 points on the entire league. To put that in perspective, she could bench her team for about 10 days now and STILL have the lead. If she runs her softball team as well as she runs her fantasy team, she will be drinking out of the Ali Ramirez Cup come July 14.
Justin was the big winner of the night, with 63 points, but of course Suzy is 76 points ahead of her nearest competitor on the session. Capone gets the booby prize for only getting 16 points. There was a Capone lookalike on my vacation.
Suzy--481 Justin--405 Neil--398 Jose--365.33 Larry--334.33 Knoblauch--314 Laura--306 Capone--289 Milton--282 Pops--274.67 Tom--274 Evan--249

Why does it surprise me you were sizing up men during the vacation instead of drinking alcohol and partying with women?
Remember what I said about luck not being much of a factor in this league, scratch that comment.

If Suzy's team keeps up this pace, it's going to be a very boring season. Every night, someone new comes up big. Last night, Sabbathia gave her a 48 point, complete game shutout. 5 hits, 8Ks, no walks. A nice 78 point night increased Suzy's lead in the sessions and the overalls.
The big question right now is at what point in the season will Suzy be 1000 points ahead of Laura. She's 888 points ahead on June 6. I'll go with Father's Day.
At the rate she's going, she could actually win the entire league by 1000 points. Plenty of records on the line. But right now, it looks highly likely that Suzy will set a league record for most consecutive sessions won with 3.
Suzy--559 Neil--434.67 Justin--429.67 Jose--403.33 Larry--381.33 Knoblauch--359 Laura--328.33 Pops--319.67 Capone--317.33 Tom--314.67 Milton--312 Evan--279

its a shame she is blowing us all out of the water, because there is a total 100 point difference between 3rd and 11th, and 2nd is only 50 points ahead of that. it would be anybodys game, if suzy werent smoking the fucking shit out of the league.

Suzy is now almost 300 points ahead of Evan in this session alone. She has a shot at doubling his point total. Tom had the best night with 79 points, and given the tightness of the rest of the league, this relaunched Tom back into the 5th place spot. Nights like that remind me of 2005, when Tom finished in second.
Mr. Bronze, aka Ignorant Evan, had the worst night in an otherwise dismal session, scoring only 15 points.
Suzy's lead in the session is quite comfortable, as she heads down the path of destiny and looks to take her historic third session in a row.
Suzy--593 Neil--478.67 Justin--460.67 Jose--433.33 Larry--414.33 Tom--393.33 Knoblauch--391 Pops--384.67 Milton--366 Laura--363.33 Capone--349.67 Evan--294

Another day, another good night for Suzy, who does have a shot at the all time session record. Neil, who WAS in second for the session, wins the booby prize, with just 8 points. But I think the real story last night involves everyone's favorite runner up--Pops.
Pops is the ultimate second place finisher. In the bleacher softball tournament, he finished in second place all four years. Last night may be an example of how this could happen.
Curt Schilling is a member of the Wolftones. He's one of the best pitchers on the Red Sox, who have the best record in baseball. Schilling leads the Red Sox in IP, and sports a healthy 6-2 record.
And yesterday, Curt Schilling pitched his best game of the season, carrying a no hitter through 8 2/3 innings, with no walks. Though the no no was broken up, Schilling had a 1 hit, CG SHO, and a 48 point effort.
Curt Schilling was on Pops' bench.
Here are the session standings:
Suzy--655 Justin--488.67 Neil--486.67 Jose--477.33 Larry--466.33 Tom--426.33 Pops--412.66 Knoblauch--406 Capone--395 Milton--391.33 Laura--385 Evan--326

History has officially been made, as Suzy becomes the first person in league history to win 3 sessions in a row. However, no other records have fallen. Larry still holds the record for most points in a session and largest margin of victory in a session.
However, Suzy is on pace to wipe out Larry's 2005 point total record. The Larry juggernaut did not start rolling at this point in 2005.
In fact, at this point in 2005, Larry was actually in second place and 92.33 points out of first. He was actually tied with Tom for second.
The Larry Machine did not begin to dominate until session 6.
Through 5 sessions:
2007 Suzy--3244.67 2005 Larry--2706
Here are the final session standings:
Revenge of LuJedi 768 The Swingin' Dicks 606.66 Country Clubs Finest 560.67 Best of both Worlds 559.33 smash-fuckin-mouth 510.33 High Hard Ones 508.34 TheCheckCollectors 503 Just Too Easy 502.33 NJ Barflies of LI 470.67 Wolftones 447.66 DaBrushBackBastard's 434.67 Tudor City Hookers 5 381.33
