New session begins with a bang for Capone, who starts it off with a nice 95 point day.
There are 4 sessions to go. Suzy has a comfortable half session lead, with a 328.67 point margin over Larry. Larry will have to beat Suzy by over 41 points a week to catch her. Not impossible, but still Suzy is in the strong position.
Larry has a 200 point lead now in second place.
So the battle right now for the money is third place. Knoblauch and Jose are within 25 points of each other, while the pack is about 200 points behind them. Not impossible to make a race of it though by a longshot.
Capone--95 Tom--64 Evan--59 Justin--49 Larry--48 Knoblauch--40 Neil--38 Jose--32 Pops--30 Laura--25 Milton--16 Suzy--12

Day 2, and Capone still leads. Fairly close in the middle of the pack. Larry gained a little more ground on Suzy and is threatening to pull within 300 points in the overalls.
Capone--125 Larry--96.67 Evan--72.67 Tom--70.67 Justin--69 Jose--64 Pops--61 Knoblauch--61 Laura--57.67 Neil--52 Suzy--48 Milton--46.33

I guess the report suffered today. I was busy writing the recap for my softball team, who had the biggest win in team history last night, advancing to the final four for the first time ever. The team is 10 years old. There are at least 48 teams in this league. It's a pretty big accomplishment.

Good night by Suzy halts Larry's continuing momentum, but Capone remains in the lead by a comfortable margin.

Ok, so it seems the real challenge this week is if I can somehow type the standings as I wrote them down. We have a pretty good session so far, with several of the top teams within 10 points of each other. Capone has been swallowed up by the pack. Neil--190 Capone--189 Jose--188 Justin--184.67 Knoblauch--172.33 Tom--164.33 Larry--158.67 Suzy--158 Evan--143 Laura--137 Milton--129 Pops--125.67

As of now, Neil is currently in the lead, despite the fact that he drafted Igawa. As a reminder, not only did he draft Igawa, he did so when Wang was still available.
Lousy session for Larry, who only got 0.67 points last night. You can chalk that up to a lot of off days and John Maine.
Meanwhile, Jose and Knoblauch are involved in the best battle so far, not only for session positioning, but for third place. Back and forth.
Neil--221 Capone--213 Justin--209.67 Knoblauch--209.33 Jose--201 Evan--200 Tom--180.33 Suzy--178 Laura--167 Larry--159.33 Milton--149 Pops--140.67

I thought the only battles Knoblauch got involved in were who could wait longer to put a player that has come off the DL in real baseball back onto their active rosters.

Interesting weekend as both Capone and Larry have monster 100 plus point nights.
Yet Larry had been running even with Suzy so this was the first time he gained some significant ground on her in several days. Larry is now 314 points behind. He will need to gain about 50 points on her per week to seriously catch her.
Meanwhile, Laura is dead last in the overalls, and dead last in the session. She is now 277.67 points out of 11th place. The farewell tour continues...
Capone--422 Neil--382 Larry--364 Knoblauch--316 Suzy--313 Evan--310 Justin--301.67 Tom--297.33 Jose--280.33 Milton--250.33 Pops--232 Laura--227.33

A slow baseball day limited Suzy to 12 points. But unfortunately for him, Larry only managed to gain 9. Only Tom and Justin gained decent ground on Suzy, but they of course are well out of it.
Capone--440 Larry--385 Neil--385 Tom--344.33 Justin--341.67 Knoblauch--335 Suzy--325 Evan--322.67 Jose--309.67 Milton--265.33 Pops--260 Laura--229.67

Larry is still pushing forward in the quest to topple Suzy. Her lead is STILL comfortable, but for the first time in awhile, it's under 300 points. Milton had a solid night, with 81 points, and Capone, who had been leading the session pretty much the whole time, had just 8 points, and blew his lead.
Larry--483 Capone--465 Justin--443.33 Tom--438.33 Knoblauch--432.33 Neil--431 Suzy--413.33 Evan--395 Milton--388.33 Jose--349.33 Pops--335.67 Laura--285.33

at this point, id be getting worried if i were suzy. this is like cutting a 14 game lead down to 6. over 700 points cut down to less than 300. watch out if vernon wells, troy glaus and jermaine dye ever wake up this season.

I know I've won this league twice, but Larry is the best player in this league. I know Suzy has dominated, and her performance has been impressive this season (not to mention the year she piloted Knoblauch's team to the title). But Larry even putting that big of a dent in that lead...wow.

Congratulations to Laura, who is now almost 350 points out of 11th place. She has to make up more ground on Pops than Larry does on Suzy. And Suzy gained some ground on Larry last night. Two days left in the session, and Laura has less than 300 points. Awful.
But getting to the session, we have a good race for the top spot, with Larry and Capone separated by just 3 points.
Larry--508 Capone--505 Neil--485.33 Justin--472.33 Tom--471.33 Suzy--464.67 Knoblauch--452.33 Milton--447.33 Evan--431 Jose--391.33 Pops--371.67 Laura--296.33

A month ago, at the end of session 8, Suzy had 4656.33 points.
Now, at the end of Session 10, a month later, Laura has 4577.33 points.
But the true winner of this session is Capone, who went ballistic to claim this session with ease, scoring almost 180 points in the last 2 days. The rest of the session was fairly close, but Larry had a terrible two days.
