LOL!
Within 2 hours of this guy with 3 names ending in Kerr "confessed" I found blogs shooting holes in and tattering his version of events. I posted it on the 39 board, and was subsequently mocked for stirring the shit. Well, what we got today is NO DNA MATCH, and Karr is being set free. Oh, he'll face his regular gaggle of child-porn charges, but he did NOT kill JonBenet, and a lot of people have a lot of egg on their faces.
Sigh. Did we really need this case to pop up again? Oh, I looked at the house on Google Earth. Nice digs!

When I heard that the DNA didn't match (surprise, surprise), I thought of that Blair Underwood/Sean Connery flick where Blair had a prison-mate confess to a crime that was committed by Blair. Wouldn't surprise me if Karr knew who did it hence the intimate knowledge of certain aspects of the crime.

Wasn't he up for charges in Thailand? From what I hear, their prisons are far worse than here. He's better off behind bars for the US charges than sticking around in Thailand where he'll have scheduled whippings.

True, but once he is pegged as a child predator behind bars he's a dead man. And the guards will sort of make sure that will happen, its all part of the grand game.
He did himself no favors.

He got his 15 minutes. That's probably all he wanted. I read somewhere that he said himself the DNA wouldn't match. But he was still on the cover of every paper for days. He was the cover story of PEOPLE magazine this week.
He doesn't really have to be connected to the murder at all. How do we know he really knows any details about the case? From what I've read the "details" he provided are not necessarily what happened.

I wonder if Ramsey is really alive, and is the mastermind behind the whole thing.

Well, the main giveaway that this guy was a loon, and it was ignored by just about every media outlet, was his claim that he "picked up JonBenet from school that day" - uh, that day was over Christmas holiday. No school.

I announced it on 39, but I'll re-announce it here. I was the 2nd gunman on the grassy knoll that killed Kennedy.

Well, that was the first story. The second story was that he was at their Christmas party and hid until everyone left and then listened to her mom read her a bedtime story. But wait.... the Christmas party was the 23rd. Did you hide out in the house for 2 days?

In my forensic science class senior year, we spent a lot of time on both the Ramsey case and the JFK assassination. As a result, both cases now bug the hell out of me even more because of the lack of answers.
With regard to the Ramsey case, I think the parents are involved somehow. I don't see them killing their own daughter, but I believe they know something about it.

Hopefully they'll just cover this on an episode of CSI, which is exactly like the real world.

My assumption is that he must have done something really horrifying in Thailand for him to confess. Because Thailand's punishment is more severe than here. I knew from the beginning he did not kill that girl. People say there is no such thing as a perfect crime. We have seen a few in our days.

I like how a handwriting expert was 90 % sure that Karr wrote the ransom note. But in 1996 a handwriting expert was 90 % sure Patsy Ramsey wrote it. The parents had to be involved. The 118,00.00 requested in the ransom note was the exact amount of the father's bonus that year. Too much of a coincidence. I don't like the whole "an intruder came into a window that happened to be broken" theory either. They would have had to have known about that broken window. And was there no security system in the house?

The ransom note is my favorite. Even better than that is the rough draft of the ransom note that the author tossed in the trash. How convenient. It's so obvious that the note was fabricated.

Cowherd had a rare, funny moment this morning - this guy may not be "the guy" in the Ramsey case, but he's creepy looking enough that he'll be "the guy" in something else...so let's just put him away anyway.

I've seen other creepy pictures of him where he seems to be wearing ALMOST as much make-up as Jean-Benet.

Apparenty the attraction to young girls (and the being crazy) runs in the family. I think his mom in her teens when she had him and after she went nuts and was commited to an institution his father who was in his late fifites at the time married a twenty nine year old.
