This is a dumb trade. Another trade just to make a trade and go, look at me, look at what i can do.
Just moving chess pieces back and forth is all this is. Wake me up when someone tries to trade a superstar 3B for a superstar P, and not when people are just switching guys around all the same positions.

say what you want but at least me and milton keep it interesting. there are too many teams in this league who simply will not make a trade under any circumstances and thats just too vanilla for me.

Yeah, real interesting. It also does not speak well for your drafts, that you are shuffling your top picks back and forth. Regret much?

I will not even bother reviewing this trade cause all you guys are doing is moving people back and forth. By the end of the year Milton will have traded every one of these guys he gets from you to someone else. Its a waste of time dealing with that idiot.
I would love to see someone try to trade a surprlus all-star third baseman for a solid starting pitcher. When you trade guys for guys playiing the same position you are just wasting everyones time, it shows no creativity to me. But thats just me. By all means, you guys have fun.
I am looking for a good closer as insurance. If you like someone on my team, that plays a DIFFERENT POSITION THAN CLOSER, I am available to talk. But I dont trade guys for guys that play the same position.

Listen, I give you credit for trying, and obviously you are an accomplished player at this. But I think dealing with Milton is the wrong way to go, there is a stench about him and the trades he tries to make, and when you trade guys for guys that play the same position, you are just treading water. You're a better player than that, thats all I have to say for now.
When this trade is said and done, no one outside of you two will even know the difference.

i understand where you are coming from tom. our early big trade last year was similar as well. and i usually dont see a point in swapping players of similar positions. all your points are very valid.
but with this one, i have my reasons why i thought this would be good for my ballclub.

"Its a waste of time dealing with that idiot."
Hey tom fuck you I like making moves and having fun. I really think this is a great move for me you just don't have the fucking balls to make any moves you fat pussy because your boyfriend might make fun of you. I would like to find the person that thinks Matsui is going to put up better numbers than Manny? Also find me the person that thinks Jeter will put up better fantasy numbers than Jose Reyes If so why is Jose Reyes a top 5 pick in every fucking draft? Now yes Santana is better than Carmona but numbers wise going by last year not by much. I think I have a better staff than Larry. So it wont hurt as much. Bottom line is you should stop calling me fucking names and talking about me because I'm going to have to slap your ass and if you want to bring Justin he can get some to!!!
BY THE WAY NOBODY GIVES A FLYING FUCK WHAT YOU THINK ABOUT THIS TRADE!!!! I MADE IT I'M HAPPY NOW GO FUCK YOUR SELF!
LOOK UP MY YAHOO FANTASY BASEBALL HISTORY PLEASE!!!!!
I HAVE A GREAT RECORD IN FANTASY BASEBALL THIS IS THE ONLY LEAGUE I HAVE NOT WON YET!THATS BECAUSE OF THE JUSTIN RULES BUT HEY THATS WHAT KEEPS ME COMING BACK ITS A CHALLENGE BUT FUCK ITS BORING!!!

This thread doesn't have to be limited to just actual trades. In every fantasy league, this one included, every year, most people receive some of the most ridiculous trade offers, where the person making the offer either doesn't get the game, or thinks that the person receiving the offer is so stupid, they could rip them off. You would think after all the dumb trades that have been protested out that we wouldn't see these offers, but we do.
So if you have ARod, and get an offer of Casey Blake and Ted Lilly, feel free to vent your frustration and call the guy out.

Suzy and Jose have made a trade. Jose gets Roy Halladay. Suzy gets Michael Young, Johnny Cueto, and George Sherrill.
And we have our first protest of 2008.
1. "This just looks like jose is getting ripped off"

Protest #3 is in (2 to go):
1. "This just looks like jose is getting ripped off" 2. Michael Young and two waiver wire pickups for Doc Halladay? I doth protest. 3. i protest this ridiculous trade since when is Halladay worth this many guys with that much point potential. this may be the worst trade attempted this year.
