That's cool that you got to work the big games. Funny how they had 18000 fans in Buffalo, while in NYC, they can't give the tickets away. Shows what there is to do in Buffalo. But since when does SidDaKid play lacrosse?

haha. well buffalo only pulled 10,000 for the first 2 rounds of the playoffs BUT they are a loud crowd thats for sure! the cup game had the sellout push and it was madness in hsbc center.
the buffalo bandits head coach darris kilgour sported a mohawk during the playoffs and it took on, about 80% of the team had mohawks for the cup game!
the titans had a great year losing to buffalo in the eastern finals, 1 win short of a cup appearance!

That guy looks more like SidDaKid than Sid does.
That's awesome for the Titans losing to the eventual champs only. It's a fun experience going there. I wouldn't pay top dollar, but it was definitely worth the trip to the Garden and I would do it again.

if msg draws real low again next year, i might ask my contact if he wants rowdy fans there and then proceed to ask him for 20 comps and see if we cant get some rowdiness in msg directly from 39.
cant wait til next season! thanks for the support msb.

OK Larry...a little clarification please.
I'm looking at the Los Angeles Riptide schedule and they have games upcoming. How can that be so if there's already been a crowned champ?
I'm thinking of possibly checking this out.

chris.
there are 2 professional lacrosse leagues. the one i work for is the NLL. its indoor lacrosse or "box" lacrosse as the canadiens call it. this game is alot easier to root for to the casual fan as its a much small field, indoors with boards so theres much more excitement. it accesuates the high skill areas of the game and cuts out a lot of the (boring) running portion of the game.
the LA riptide is part of the MLL. thats the summer field lacrosse pro league. a lot of the same players play in both leagues, while some NLL players choose to skip MLL season and play pro box lacrosse up in canada instead. the field game is more true to what lacrosse is, but is also slower and not quite exciting. but if you dig lax, you should dig a riptide game.
the only california team in the NLL right now is all the way up in san jose. unfortunately they dont draw worth a shit.

That's an interesting idea though Larry. Imagine comping the Section 39 crowd (who would actually GO for that price), and basically using them as plants for rowdiness.
Anything goes. Treat it like the way it was when we went to the minor league hockey. It would be like having plants in the crowd, except we would just be doing our thing--without repercussion.
They could adverstise this as the nonfamily section, and scatter the families throughout the Garden.
I know it would never happen, but holy crap that would be cool.
It would sure beat the PA Announcer trying to start chants. That is just bad.

Yeah, good luck with that. You KNOW that the last thing they want is the bawdy stuff that we would bring. And you will NEVER have a "non-family" section set up. Sorry, thats just bad business. This is MSG we are talking about here, not the Community Center.
Please be realistic.
Great work here, Larry. Your work is excellent, and I too want to check out these games. i started perusing the websites for the league, trying to get a grip on it all. Keep it up.

Larry, my wife is an aspiring photographer....hobbyist at this point.
Can you offer any pointers, perhaps books to read that would enhance her skills - particularly in terms of what camera setting to use during various outdoor conditions.
I don't know what the fuck I'm talking about, so I might not even be wording this correctly.

Keep it up. i would surely let them know what they were getting into. they do like rowdy and cater to it to some extent, but they also market to families of lower income so they have their limits on rowdiness thats for sure. but i mean nothing is happening at msg. its not like there are tons of kids there. so you get some rowdys in there drinking $7 beers. cant be that bad, could it? unless they set the seats on fire. lol.

I don't know what the fuck I'm talking about, so I might not even be wording this correctly. um, im not a book kinda guy, so im no help there. im sure there is a lot of info online. www.photo.net is a great place to learn about photography. i learned the basics (including how to determine camera settings) at a local SUNY school in an adult ed course. it was cheap as shit too. i could throw some basic shit out here on the thread. maybe a little day after day. just some of the basic photography groundwork that could probably help any interested in experimenting with photography. but besides just researching online for information i really dont have a "course" to tell her to go to that will do it for her. camera clubs sometimes are the place to go. i hate em cause there are so many gearheads who just want to talk equipment, which i hate. probably cause im poor. lol. but if you meet the right people its a great way to learn how to use your camera effectively.
