Well, probably by the end of the day I will need to switch the generic title to this thread to RIP - Killer Kowalski. He is in grave condition, as he had a massive heart attack and the worst is expected. He has been sick for a long time, confined to a nursing home. Currently 81 years old, he was just featured on WWE 24/7, and of course I didnt bother to tape any of it. Sigh.
I dont have many personal memories of the man, although you always hear his name. He trained a heap of the top names, and is looked upon with great respect in the business. He was an imposing looking sort as well.
So there you go. I am sure this may hit some hard in the memory bank. All the best to Kowalski and his family in this trying time.

He has been taken off of life support, and is "unresponsive." Matter of time, sadly enough.

Well, I shall continue with this conversation with myself to mention that while he is not out of the woods, his heart is beating on its own, and apparently he is "Fighting like Hell."

Its gotten even better. Now his heart and other organs are working fine on their own, although he is still pretty unresponsive. Hes fighting this one.

Killer Kowalski has passed.
May he rest easy, he fought like Hell at the end.

Just read about it too, very sad. But as Tom pointed out, he trained many top guys, one of whom is banging the boss' daughter, so his legacy in wrestling still very much alive. RIP.

HHH is of course the epoch of the guys he trained, but he even helped along guys like John Studd back in the day. And I was watching a shoot interview with Mike "Norman the Lunatic" Shaw of all people last night, and he was going on about how Kowalski got him into the business and was a tremendous fellow.

You would have loved WWE 24/7 last month - Kowalksi was the featured Hall of Famer, and they ran his profile piece and a heap of his matches throughout.
Kowalski had a fierce look, a great wrestling name, and entrenched a legacy. Oddly, I never saw too much of him, but his is a name that pops up all the time in wrestling annals.
