Man, that is a gay picture of Punk. But chihuahuas are awesome.
(And before anyone says they are a Paris Hilton dog or anything to that affect, know that I was rockin' the chihuahua back when I was 13 and everyone else is just a wannabe.)
I would be upset about Punk losing the belt, if I wasn't too busy being thrilled that Jericho is the new champ.

My problem with Punk losing the belt was the way it was done. I don't like when a champ loses a belt without actually dropping the belt.

I agree, but I'm not upset with him losing it either. They at the very least protected him. I know, how did they protect him if he loses without defending? Cause after he loses the cage match next week, he's A) going right into a feud with Orton and the kids, and B)no matter the outcome next week, Punks a legitimate threat to the title and has a reason to want revenge. He has a feud waiting in the wings with Jericho. Jericho will feud with Batista, which is nice, and Punk with the Stable, which should be good. Jericho can also feud with Mysterio. So yeah, it's shitty how he gets the strap taken off him, but it could be worse. It's lame but he wasn't buried. And personally I think he really showed championship material if I were a booker or whatever, he carried himself well, he'll get it back eventually. They left him with options so he's got a lot to work with.
I just hope WWE doesn't go TNA route, foreshadow an interference next week, and puss out of a clean finish.

Jeff Hardy may be in trouble again....story broke around the websites around 7PM that something happened at the airport, heading home from the Smackdown tapings sometime today. Caught with drugs? In no condition to board the plane? More to come?

I read it may be medical as Jeff was walking with Gregory Helms and Matt Hardy, who were being escorted by police. However, no report was filed at the airport. Also, it's worth noting many of the wrestlers went out to spend a night in Nashville so it may be something stemming from the night before, although nothing was reported about Hardy's behavior.
Got this all off Prowrestling.net, Jason Powell actually talked to the spokeswoman for Nashville International Airport.

If it isn't "medical" all I can say is what and idiot. He seemed like a nice enough guy too, but what an idiot.

Also as silly as it seems and as bad as it will probably be I am looking forward to Kizarny...I laughed at seeing him the first time as Vince pokes fun at the Old Timers / "Carny" gimmick

Im with you on that. I also like his look. I like different sorta personalities. This guy has done a Carnival Freak gimmick. In fact, in TNA, he did a promo a few years ago where James Mitchell used him as a Human Dartboard.

Holy crap, Sancho, where you been?
Its been a few months. Yeah, Evan "Air" Bourne. Getting over very well, too. Getting the uber-pops. My wife is quite the fan. I like him too, although I wish the Fed would bring in a Jack Evans type to mix it up with him. Tonight he is going one one one with Mysterio! Should be a Hell of a match.
Poor guy cant cut a promo, but he's electric.

Did you miss Dibiase & Rhodes vs Punk and Kofi? Solid match there. Hope you did not tune in only to have the first thing you saw being Piper, Goldust, and Honky Tonk Man.
I think Bourne has gotten over in spite of the WWE efforts to keep him under wraps. He made his bones on ECW. He's got a fresh high-flying style thats all over the Indy scene - albeit not as polished - but not seen much around WWE environs. Fans have taken to him.
Um, did you realize Spanky has been repackaged and his doing a brash heel gimmick over on Smackdown, complete with a big black bodyguard? He's even appeared in a couple of MAIN EVENTS.

This will get James grumpy for sure. On Figure Four online they had a poll - these are diehard and smart fans, mind you. Question.....who is the biggest WWE star?
And the envelope please....
Cena 57.1 % Undertaker 12.9% Edge 7.2% Chris Jericho 5.8% HHH 4.4% HBK 4.4% Randy Orton 4.2% Jeff Hardy 3.4%
Nice showing by HBK there!

I'm not upset, I bet even HBK would say Cena is bigger, there's no doubt about it. I'm not suprised by Taker and Edge either, or Jericho for that matter. You got to realize, HBK vs Jericho for the belt in the ladder match was HBKs first title shot in a long time. He doesn't do main events anymore so no, I'm not shocked he isn't high on that list. And his DX/Kliq running buddy HHH is tied, so what does that say. This doesn't bug me. It's not like those smart marks are saying Hogan's a better wrestler.

I'm actually surprised by Taker being that high. I would think that Edge, Jericho, HHH, and Orton would all be ahead of him.

Not surprised at all. Balls, Undertaker is so over and popular and it is never ending, that is why he only has to show up 5 times a year....

I understand that Taker's still over. It's an amazing run, but number 2? Wow.

So apparently Tomko reentered the fed the other night in a dark match against my man Burchill, and Vince flipped out backstage at how out of shape he looked. He's been coming back from an injury, and apparently put on some weight. I have now seen the story from a couple of reliable sources, including the Observer. Some think Tomko may be back out out of WWE very very soon.
