I'm not really that sick of it yet. I think that if it were just McMahon v. HBK, I would be though, but I think they are doing DX well enough to sustain it some longer. There's been a lot of rumors about nWo in some capacity. Maybe McMahon being "broken" will lead into that.
What I'm REALLY sick of is the Legend Killer gimmick. Orton needs to move on.

I like the name Legend Killer, but I'm sick of him just facing old saps.

I'd rather see HBK rollingon the floor like an idiot then attemtpting to do the DX thing but looking like he's from a Jerry Lewis telethin. Him being an obnoxious douche is better than tryin to fake being a "rebel". Triple H will always be the same and always be great, no matter what. I heard nWo rumors too, but I think they'd do DX, Hogan, Cena and Kane vs The McMahons, Orton, Edge and Umaga at Suvivor Series instead of nWo. They did the nWo revival and it didn't work because the fans wanted to cheer Hogan, I don't see it working this time. Who'd want to, one nostalgia faction at a time and and DX is the only proven faction that can be brought back and work. Twice. If they bring back and nWo thing it better be vs DX instead of combining the two.

Here's another one from the "rumors that wont die" department....with Nash's contract running out in TNA this very month, many are still thinking the vaunted NWO may come in after all, bought in once again by McMahon as a poison to clean out DX. It may simply be Nash and Hogan teaming against Michaels and HHH, cause no one seems to know where Hall is. I like the sounds of this, if they are going to keep up this DX stuff.

So HHH and HBK would have to be bump machines for two old fossils. It should be a classic. But it is a cool idea because it's the two best factions of the 90's and DX would win so my claim that they are better than nWo would be true.

James, did you hear about the little sideshow that went on at Summerslam between Hogan and DX? Hogan did a crotch-chop during his match with Orton and got a major pop, and HHH responded during his match by doing the "hand to the ear" routine. That was not met as well by the crowd, from all accounts. Word is that Hogan "punked" them. Wether or not its all planned as a build towards an angle...well, we shall see. This said, I wish they could find Hall and have Hall and Nash go against HBK and HHH instead. The on-camera implosion of the Clique.

Not only did I hear I saw. Hogan did the nWo crotch chop, the one that Kid, Nash and Hall did in WCW. I wouldn't like it for the one reason HBK hates Hogan and DX can have a good match without that peice of crap taking all the spotlight.
I think if anything, have the clique come back and kick that crap out of Vince. Bottom line is the curtain call(which I saw live at the garden) was the planting of the seeds for DX. Bring nWo back and at Suvivor Series have Hall and Nash turn on Hogan and Vince. If only the Kid wasn't in MTVs promotion.

Any of you yokes who tape Raw keep in mind that for tonight only its on Sci-Fi. US Open Tennis is on USA Network. I hope that since WWE is resigned to a smaller audience (inevitable for a channel switch) that they dont choose to "mail it in" tonight.

Stacy Keibler, who has vowed never to return to WWE TV again in any capacity, will have a role on the "George Lopez Show" this fall on ABC

I like Mickie James. But Melina is the star, especially as Trish and Lita are reportedly leaving in the next month or so. (Trish is getting married, wants to start a family and Lita wants to pursue "acting" - lol)

That was a nice beatdown the McMahons laid on DX tonight. I don't know what Vince was swinging, but those were some stiff shots laid on HHH. You can even see HHH start slice open from one of the first few shots

It was good to see the McMahons get some heat back. Yeah, he was really laying it in. It was a good juice job. Besides, HHH and HBK deserved that beating for those corny cock and choking the chicken jokes.

He does, and Melina was also shoddy, as she got very flustered when the fans started hooting on her. But there is a good point making the rounds, that the best way to get these idiots to talk and learn is to go out there and talk and learn. Wrestling is known for crash and burn moments. I would rather see them come out there and try something on the mic, then just stand there mute like a Hardy boy, or get 2 seconds of promo time before someone jumps them, like what happens to Kendrick and London on Smackdown.

Tasteless comment from last nights show, one that even gave ME pause, was Jim Ross, while Umaga was stomping towards the ring. He goes, "We could have a Katrina-like tragedy right here!"
I mean, come on.

It was announced during Raw on The Score in Canada that WWE Champion Edge will take over and be the special in game host as the Toronto Blue Jays host the Tampa Bay Devil Rays on 9/15 (7:07pm start, available on both Rogers Sportsnet Ontario and Fox Sportsnet Florida). The in game host at Blue Jay games tend to hype up the crowd, give away prizes and just run the show during the TV commercial breaks. - wrestleview.com

Smackdown this week is moved to WPIX-11, and will be shown in a one hour condensed version Saturday at 2 in the afternoon. Corny. I think its staying on 11 until the launch of the new CW Network, which is going to be on 11 here in NY.

Cryme Tyme debuts on RAW
Tonight a new tag team, Cryme Tyme, will be introduced to the RAW audience. In an effort to humor and entertain our fans the tag team known as Cryme Tyme will be parodying racial stereotypes.
Shad Gaspard and JTG do outlandish, outrageous “stunts” to ready themselves for tag team action on RAW. This attempt at Saturday Night Live-like humor is bound to entertain audiences of all ethnic derivations.
We hope you enjoy the weekly adventures of Cryme Tyme.

I had no problem with the Cryme Tyme stuff. I had to stifle many a chuckle. Its absurd to see all the staunch and prim types all over the wrestling message boards whining about it, calling it a travesty, and wishing for the days of Iron Sheik and Nicolai Volkoff as your tandem heels. One person went as far as to say, "I hope the NAACP is watching!" Yeah, they'll be right on that. While they are at it, maybe they should be checking out some Wayans Brother movies.

Eh...I still like it. But I like my old-school stuff more. Wrestling today has more outlandish scenarios, and shorter and less athletic matches. TNA has better matches on their TV shows, but they look choreographed. Its like ballet at times. But I say tape the respective shows, watch, and FF through what you dont want to see, or you dont care about.
