I like that they are doing this kind of an angle, where the top dogs of the three brands fight it out, but I just think that the timing is off. First, it would have been done much better if they didn't have 3 brands. But I've always hated 3 way matches.
This is something that should have been a WM type match. Settle the undisputed champ at the biggest PPV. And it could take months to set up. Instead of a 3 way dance, let the Raw and Smackdown champs feud for awhile and have a unification match. Pick a winner, and have the ECW champ come out and rough that winner up, setting up the true undisputed champ match at WM.

But the winner here is only "undisputed champ" by name. They are not doing away with any of the belts - its obvious that the belt that is on the line will be the Raw title, and Cena is going to win the match. So no one loses thier belts.
All this is for is a cool thing to call yourself. So it does not merit any more than it is getting. If they were uniting all the titles...thats different.

I actually wish they WOULD unite the titles. One champ representing all three shows. Don't do away with the belts though. Still have a Raw, Smackdown and ECW champ, but the unified champ would be on all three shows.

Thats dumb. It would also take away from the meaningful battles for each belts title that some other belt is going to float on and off the show for people to take a crack at. Confuses the issue needlessly.
Different brands, different world champions.

What's dumb is different brands and different champions.
It wouldn't take away from any of the meaningful battles any more than anything without a unified belt. If the unified champion is the Raw champion, he has two belts. If he loses to a Smackdown guy, either the Smackdown guy goes to Raw and has 2 belts, replaced by the former champ, or the Raw guy keeps his belt.
It's not that tough. One champion makes one belt matter more.

What do you want, one brand? So you get the chance to see John Cena and DX 3 times a week instead of 1?
The WORST thing that could happen would be to end the brand split.
Thankfully, that is not happening, nor are the seperate titles dissapearing. So yeah, we get it, you want it that way. But you wont get it that way, so lets move on.

How about 10 brands so that Vito and his dress can have a belt? You can push your superstars without separating them.
You also don't have to drop the three brands to have one champion.

You dont have 3 brands, and 1 champion. Each show has its own identity, and needs its own champion there weekly, defending the title and participating in angles promoting such. Just as important, their champion needs to be on the road, at their house shows. One champion could not be making the Smackdown, Raw, and ECW runs concurrrently.
3 Champions is just much better business.
Revel in the small bone they are throwing you - you will be able to call John Cena "The Champion of Champions" after 11/5. You can even join his Chain Gang.
For the rest of us, the shows go on as normal.

Gotta have three champs. They have three or four federations worth of wrestlers, so there CAN'T be one show.
