so yeah this seems to be the only Indy show in NYC, for a while. its at the Manhattan Center, I'm down to go, main Event is Samoa Joe Or American Dragon VS Homicide. While RoH is not what you would get like the old USA pro shows in Jamaica, YES most if not all, the fans are Internet Geeks but i plan on getting drunk and talking shit to most of the wrestlers, and maybe I'll catch a decent match. anybody else wanna go? Captain ? 4dogg? Tom?

No can do for me. We are celebrating Christmas with my in-laws the night of the 23rd. It would also be tough for me to come back into the city on a Saturday. If the show had been on Friday, much better shot this time around. This said, I want to get to some sort of wrestilng show in some fit or fashion, so hopefully come new year we can hook something up.

so i Checked out the Jersey all Pro Wrestling card last night in Jersey city, a few thoughts
1. this place is very easy to get to from NYC just a path train ride away. nice building inside a school which kinda sucks since no beer is sold.
over all a good card crowd was good not as nerdy as the ROH guys but still plenty of weirdos.
Danny Demato beat Devon storm in a good match lots of crazy dives by the fat man.
Crime time sucks in the ring but they are funny as hell and got a ton of charisma now Jay Lethal doing the macho man gimmick is great and he can at least have a good match
main event was a wild brawl with teddy hart winning over Homicide and Eddie Kingston. fucking nuts hart doing moonsaluts off nearly every thing in the place tables, canes, and bottles were used.just total chaos
should be more shows in the next few weeks I'll post then if anybody wants to go

ROH was in my old hometown of Deer Park last night, while ironically I was in my new hometown of Westbury watching TNA at the old Music Fair. Oh my, best house show I have ever attended...more on that later. A heap of guys who were supposed to make ROH's Deer Park Show last night no-showed due to "bad weather" - if they are needed in, they should be able to make it for tonights show, though.
Have fun if you go, if you are thinking about it you KNOW you should.

I am through with ROH. I find the Wrestlers to be very bland, although most of them are great "workers".it s that crowd that kills me.that is the worst group of people to watch Wrestling with, a bunch of nerds doing stupid fucking chants, demanding only the best in "stong stlye". those guys suck balls

TNA is in NYC on Saturday, actually.
Hmm, mulling over that FTW show. All ages are welcome, which works for us. We shall see.

ROH this Saturday night in NYC @ Hammerstein. I'll be there. Don't know if any of you cronies are going but let me know. Should be fun. I've never been to Hammerstein to see wrestling. I did have tickets for ECW there back before they were part of WWE but some friends and I got arrested prior to the event for smoking weed by the Garden.

Wrestling at Hammerstien is pretty cool. been the for like 4 Old School ECW Cards and one of the one night stands. last time i saw ROH there were up stairs in the manhattan center ballroom. man ROH has some decent macthes and wrestlers but i cant stand that fucking crowd.the shows just were not fun. i like JAPW a lot better. ROH came of too serious. but maybe that changed since they got the new Booker

The card was so much fun last Saturday night that I'm thinking about going back on 6/13. Every match was solid. As far as the crowd goes, there's a general stereotype that goes to these indy shows but if I go to this card I'll be sure to sit in the balcony. Those are the best seats in the house. Colt Cabana and D-Lo Brown were there and overall, top to bottom, all the matches were good.
Ric Flair will be there and he is doing this signing prior to the show. "Nature Boy" Ric Flair will be in New York City for a special meet & greet autograph session from 5:30-7:30 PM. Autograph tickets are $30 for the first item and $20 each additional item PER PERSON!!! You must have a live event ticket for the wrestling show in order to enter the autograph session.
