Well, the real rumored reason of Khali's arrival on Raw is out now, and it makes sense.
Khali vs Hogan at Wrestlemania.
For months people were kicking around ideas of Hogan vs his old buddy Big Show at Mania, but Show has made it clear he wont be returning for the show. So its on to plan 2. Rather than what we talked about yesterday, and Cena pulling a slam on Khali in what would be a terrible Raw title match, it would be Hogan recreating his slam of another giant, the venerable Andre, 20 years ago. With Khali on ECW, they would need to promote the show with Hogan appearing on ECW. Yeah, right....not happening. So move Khali to the trademark show, and start the build for the match into Mania.
It seems safe to say you will see Hogan/Khali at Wrestlemania.

So one of two things would have to happen. Either Khali jobs to Hogan, or vice versa. With Hogan not being an active wrestler, his appearances only exist for nostalgia. He has to win or it's just a waste. And Khali is a monster. He could lose to Hogan, but what comes next?
Orton was a bigger name and bigger star, and HE jobbed to Hogan.

I could see Khali pinning Hogan, but Hogan bodyslamming him and diverting attention from it, as he is known to do. But, more likely, it will be another happy Wrestlemania moment with Hogan scoring a pin, and hanging a first clean loss on Khali.
Orton may be a bigger STAR, but he is not pushed as UNBEATABLE. That is Khali's gimmick. Orton has done jobs all over the place, losing to Hogan was the same old thing for him. I could see WWE protecting Khali.
Unless Cena gets that win instead beforehand.

Didn't Undertaker finally beat Khali? I want to see Khali feud with Umaga.

That feud petered out. Khali has not been pinned, and I am not even sure he has been off his feet as of yet. That big blowoff to the Khali/Taker feud was the Punjabi Prison match, but the WWE moved Big Show into the match instead, last minute, cause they did not trust Khali to put on a good match (and he had tested for "elevated liver enzymes" to boot)
Taker never got his win back over Khali.

If they can't trust Khali to put on a good match, then there's no point pushing him to main event status. I don't know if beating Hogan would really elevate Khali. They have him at super monster status right now. He obviously can't talk, and if he can't put on a good match, he's basically a Giant Gonzalez. Ultimately, he has to lose the big one.
Thinking about it, Khali/Cena at WM would be a good choice--not for a slam, but for a match. To make it better, I would consider having Cena even drop the belt and have Wrestlemania be about the rematch.
Hogan should always be at Wrestlemania, but he should be given a midcarder to beat. Let him power out of the Masterlock Challenge or something like that.

Yes, there is. He is a very imposing figure, and wrestling is not really about "good matches" these days, in case you have not noticed. In fact, a case could be made that Hogan cant have one either.
There is no money in Hogan breaking out of the masterlock challenge. When the WWE finally does that, it will be to boost a guy that they will continue to push, and make money on. They are not going to throw every bone they have Hogan's way.
Khali will not be WWE champion. Stop with that.

I'm not talking a prolonged run. I'm talking a one month before WM run. Short term. Not to carry the company, but to get true heat into WM.

Well if this is the start of the WM card I am not impressed and they better come up with some better matches...

Actually, I find that WM rarely is good.

Not every WM can be ICON vs. ICON....I saw a site or two talking about WM "dream matches" that can possibly happen..we know Austin vs. Hogan probably won't since neither will do the job but one I found interesting and though I am not a big fan of his, Cena vs. The Rock might be interesting maybe not for matt skills but the mic work and lead up....
