Ok, so I watched this over the weekend, and it is, by far, the best wrestling documentary ever put together. Some have been brash enough to call this the best documentary on ANY topic. Its certainly one of the best I have ever seen, and many days later it still sort of haunts me. Very gripping. Emotional. Really goes deep into the tragedies of the Von Erich family, and others around the World Class region. The footage used is spectacular, all kinds of cuts from World Class programming, from wild angles to great match clips. The DVD does not contain full matches as extras, as WWE bought the footage, but they have a healthy heap of footage interspersed throughout. The scene where Kevin takes a sad stroll through the Sportatorium, soon to be torn down, remembering his days of heroism there, is one of the saddest things put to film. This documentary is gripping. I cant recommend this enough to any of you that have enjoyed World Class throughout the years. Its available through Amazon and the like, or your local Best Buy, for like $14. Five stars out of five.

This was done by an independant filmmaker. Vince and company ARE putting one out, due later in the year. That will be a WWE production, and you'll see guys like Hayes and Flair all over it. This one featured guys like Gary Hart, Bill Mercer, Akbar, etc.
WWE one will have matches and such, as they own the library. This one was culled from someones tape collection....some of the footage looks multiple generation.
As it is independantly done, its a bit more dark. I am sure Vince will touch on all these tragedies, but not like this. No way Fritz would put this one out, he does not come off smelling like a rose here.
