LOL @ the fact that Michaels vs Cena, Undertaker vs Batista, Umaga (w Vince) vs Lashley (w Trump) with hair on the line, and a Money In The Bank ladder match with Edge and CM Punk already in it (and 4 more to go!) is NOT worth your $40. LOLOLOL!
ENOUGH. What would YOU book. SERIOUSLY. Give us a card, idiot. Who do your champions face? What do YOU do with Edge and Punk instead of this money in the bank?
Idiot.

All of those matches could be on any run of the mill PPV. CM Punk? Yawn.

I think this card is shaping up nicely..Though I do not care for Lashley yet, I understand he needs to work on things, especially the mic and is a good choice to go against Umaga especially with SCSA as the ref......I think they will have a solid match and SCSA will sprinkle in the showmanship (aka entertainment) that the two power houses may lack at this time....Lashley can become like another Brock and reminds me of him where he wasn't much at first (I mean as an overall talent) but developed and got better as a character especially after his heel turn........I also like Umaga and think he plays the old fashion monster heel great with an old time manager like Estrada...
Vince and Trump is compelling especially if Vince follows thru with getting shaved after he is stunned...
As a side note...Sucks RVD won't be in the Money in the bank but was expected once his opponent was Edge and he is now a "half way out the door" ECW original........Pleasantly surprised that CM Punk got in as I figured he was being punished and Nitro would get the rub.......On a side note explain to me how on a PPV they have Kennedy win by DQ over Lashley then have Lashley pin him clean two nights later for free? WHo is HC Holly sucking off not to do the "job"........

I was very shocked to discover that there is actually no profile for Bastion Booger on obsessedwithwrestling.com. Because it doesnt deserve one. Try wreslecrap, home of stupid wrestling gimmicks, and you'll have better luck. There actually IS a page for the guy that played Booger, Mike Shaw, who had a handful of gimmicks, including Norman the Lunatic - there are pics off of HIS page. LOL @ Bastion Booger getting his own page... www.obsessedwithwrestling.com/profiles/m/mike-shaw.html

Well, they are trying to get over Lashley as a machine. Having him pin Holly, to be kind, would not be nearly as impressive as going over on Kennedy. Makes sense, especially as the whole point of these 3-ways is to put the champion in peril.

I disagree....wrestling is wrestling. Got to be unpredictable. Cant always have guys go over clean. Personally I found Lashley going nuts with a chair and battering Kennedy more compelling than a pinfall.

Glad Booger got his own page. For a moment, I thought they blew Booger off. Holy crap. He looks a lot like Eugene.

I know this is a long shot to happen, a million to one shot..but if trump is in this angle to drum up press and attention and ratings for his show, him shaving his head would get him more media coverage then Britney and Anna Nicole combined

First off, Norman the Lunatic does NOT look like Eugene. Eugene looks like Norman the Lunatic. Eugene is the copy.
Once, heading back from an NWA show at the Meadowlands, we saw Norman the Lunatic pumping his own gas alongside the highway, in his Norman clothes.
Drock, you make a great point. Especially adding to the fact that EVERYONE is convinced Vince is going to lose, and the fact that Trump didnt look all too bad with that bald dome Vince showed him sporting on Raw.
As to the ratings of his show, though, wont this current season be pretty much in the bag by the time Mania rolls around? But one can never have too little publicity.

Point taken about Norman/Eugene. Apprentice will not be over by WM, but most of it I believe is taped, so I don't think anything is live until the finale.

You know the more I think about this, the more I think Trump is losing. Vince has pissed his pants on TV, hes bared his ass. Shaving his head isn't going to bring eyeballs to the next Raw.
But the Donald shaving his head (or at least the hype of it happening) will bump up the Raw rating and get Trump all the pub he craves, hell maybe they have him shave his head on an NBC Main Event

Oh, they'll have to shave it there. The 70,000 in attendance (and the MILLIONS! watching on PPV) will demand it. Plus, they got their cool little barber chair!
Someone bought up on the Torch board that both Vince and Trump may end up with shaved heads. Say Trump's team loses to chicanery, and the decision stands. Then Vince mouths off to Austin, and Austin takes care of that little matter.

Donald Trump appeared on the Imus in the Morning program on WFAN in New York and MSNBC. He promoted his WrestleMania match with Vince McMahon, calling Vince "a great guy." He said WM is totally sold out and that 100,000 people will be in attendance. When the host asked him who his wrestler was, he told him it was a guy named "Lindsey" in reference to Lashley. Also, it took a few moments to think of him before "Lindsay" came out. The host tried to get Trump to admit that wrestling was fixed, but Donald chose his words carefully and put over the wrestlers as great athletes. He referred to "Lindsey" as a black gentleman who is the strongest guy he's ever seen. Trump also said that a percentage of the earnings from the match are going to charity.
Lindsey, huh nice to see Trump is getting into it.

Yeah, I read that too. Another sign of how far on the backburner of things this is for him is I read that the day he appeared at the Raw taping to shoot the angle, he was on Howard Stern's show in the morning. He never once mentioned the appearance, even though Stern gave him free reign to plug away anything he had going on. LOL @ "a black gentleman." The host tried to get Trump to admit that wrestling was fixed Wow! What a scoop that would have been!

I don't know who this Lindsey is, but if I were Umaga, I'd be worried. If he's stronger than Lashley, that could be BIG.

I only have the 2nd hour of Raw on DVR and plan to get to it today. So I don't know if the Lashley/Umaga bit is on there.
But, I think I figured out why this match is bothering me so much. It's not Lashley v. Umaga. I think that done right, the match has some potential. It's the Trump/McMahon part that's bugging me.
I think this match should have been done as an old fashioned feud. And I also think that McMahon needs to have a lot of exposure for Lashley and Umaga on all three brands. I also don't know if there's really enough time to truly get this match to a level it should be.
Just taking it from here though, I would have both Lashley and Umaga squash quality opponents like crazy. Basically, with the exception of Cena, HBK, Undertaker and Batista, just about any wrestler should be jobbing to these two.
One thing I would not do is have these guys have a prolonged fight. I don't follow ECW, but if Lashley has a good friend, have Umaga attack him. Umaga should bully someone close to Lashley.
HERE is where a legend could come into play. Bring in some legend to be Lashley's idol or mentor. Or even some outsider to be a family member. Have Umaga attack that person too.
Once or twice, have Lashley confront Umaga with total hate, but after no more than a couple of punches, the two are separated, either by a bunch of refs, or simply by Umaga running away (in a way that isn't too cowardly).
I actually like the separated by refs better because it looks like Umaga isn't a wuss.
The key is to build up enough hate that when the match finally happens, it's a pit bull attack in the first minute of the match with the crowd going nuts.

Balls, stop trying to book this. Its being done fine. The two appeared on Raw, both were on ECW last night, and both will be on Smackdown Friday. Its getting its exposure. Oh, and in case you forgot, that includes CNN, FOX NEWS, and every other venue Trump will be on between now and Mania.
There is already a LOT of "hate" spewing between the two. Its a growing story. ECW ended last night with a crazy bump, using a cage as a prop, to further the intensity of these two.
The pull-apart they had on Raw was one of the better and more intense of the last few years, and built the crowd to a much more fevered pitch than they were when Lashley was announcing. Admittedly he would not have been the first pick of many of the fans, but he is winning them over.
You mentioned the match has potential. They have a full month to build it to a fever pitch. Those two together will be money. Lashley is an intense power guy, and Umaga is a wreckless brawler. The buildup has been just fine, albeit without Trump and Lashley appearing together, outside of some leaked photos before Lashley was even announced.
And they are already ahead of you on the "squashing everyone" part of it - Lashley had only 5 minutes to beat Holly in a cage last night, and he did it. He has been steamrollering everyone in front of him, and showing a vicious side. Umaga is Umaga, and since this program has started has been waylaying anyone in front of him as well.
Oh, one more thing....Lashley does NOT NEED a "mentor." He is not only a former IC champ at this young stage of his career, he is the current ECW Champion. He is doing fine on his own.

I don't mean a mentor to actually mentor him. I mean a mentor to be Lashley's good friend, and nice guy, who gets beaten down by the dastardly Umaga.
Was the Lashley/Umaga stuff on Raw in the second hour?

I actually like the way things have been progressing so far. Better than it has for the last two Wrestlemanias, which I didn't care for.
So far they have been making things pretty interesting. I love what they are doing with HBK/Cena/Orton/Edge. I'm also interested to see what Nitro does since he didn't get his Money In The Bank shot. Umaga/Lashley is coming along nice too, and that will only get better.

Yes, the Umaga/Lashley stuff kicked off and dripped into the second hour. Most of the main angles will either close the show, or bridge the gap before and after 10PM.
They dont need a mentor of Lashley's to get beat down. Without spoiling anything, they are doing the gimmick where Vince is trying to make Lashley's life "a living Hell" and he is being put into all kinds of peril, all to get him out of the match. He is fighting for his proverbial life, and thats working just fine.
