Word making the rounds is HBK blew out his knee over the weekend, and its "serious." Apparently he is going to try and tough it out Sunday night at the PPV, against better judgement. This could shelve him.

He put on a decent match vs Triple H at a Cyber Sunday or whatever with a bum leg and had the back in tears. If anyone can pull it off, he can. It's shit like this that makes him great.

Apparently not a "new" injury, this is the one he has been working through for a while, but its time for him to back off, apparently. He is doing real damage.
Oh, and James, stop talking about HBKs "heroism." This is, after all, the dope who had to leave in order to "get my smile back."

Michaels at 50% better than most people guys at 110%. And the whole smile shit was cause he thought his carreer was done due to....a knee injury. He wrestles every night on that knee and it has no cartelege, the guy can get a pass here and there. With the shit he does just to be told you can't do it anymore , not just the way he use to, at all, what do you want him to be happy? The man has come back from more carreer ending injuries and still puts on the best match night in and night out. He's fucking great, he's a legend, and deserves a hell of a lot more respect around here than he gets. Plus with the way the card looks tonight Edge vs Batista and HBK/Orton look like they have the one chance of being the best match on the card. And yeah, a guy in one of those matches has 1 good wheel. When you can say a match looks like it could be good even though one of them has a bad knee, you can only be talking about one guy.

I love HBK and all but most guys wrestling today are busted up and still wrestling, so let's not anoint him a hero of the ages. I'd rather see him take a break and come back rather than fight though it and mess himself up more.

I agree he should recharge, and I know guys wrestle hurt all the time, but you can tell when they are cause their matches suffer. That's not always the case with Michaels.
I've been reading they want him to take a little break after this and possibly send him to SD to feud with Edge over the world belt, hence the clean win over Edge on monday. I'd love to see that happen actually but who knows, he might want to stay on Raw for whatever reason.
