I hated Crush, especially after the appearence overhaul they did in about 95. Sad another goes, this is like the 5th or 6th guy this year to go in his 40s.

A bit of coincidence involved with me - last night I was watching a burst of my June 1997 comp. tape, and he was heavily featured in the evenings affairs. It was around the time of the initial bust-up of the Nation, and Farooq went out to the ring, fired all the lackeys (except D-Lo, who he told to stay) and fired Crush and Savio, who were watching remotely from the locker room. Crush was mad and yelling, "you cant fire me!"
I have a lot of Crush from that time. I too thought Kronik was ok, although they were universally panned. I guess a standout match for Crush would have been the Mania X match vs Savage.
Its funny that I found this out on the home page of Fox News. Because of Benoit, wrestling is really being watched.
RIP.
