Are they still talking up the "attack on the stairwell?" Haven't been paying too much attention to Smackdown. But that said, that's a very good choice, even though I'd rather see Christian on Raw.

Yeah, they keep mentioning it in passing, in promos and calling the matches. It has not taken over the show, but all signs still point to Edge, although he and Vicki keep denying it. They even started hinting Matt did it, which is a sure sign he didnt.

If it really IS Christian, that's a very good swerve.

I like it, plays off the E&C history right off the bat. And they do need a payoff to it since they hint at Edge who denies it, so it'd be lame for Edge to just say oh yeah i lied it was me. But I also wouldn't like the Matt turn like they've been hinting. So I'm all for this and please pull the trigger on it ASAP.

From what I've read on prowrestling.net is that nothing is official but the guy who runs it, Jason Powell, said the sources he's spoken to in both TNA and WWE is that he is more the likely going back. So while nothing has been signed, and as we all know in pro wrestling, anything can happen, it does look like it's going to happen.

So then this plotline isn't etched in stone.

Its pretty much etched in stone. Even little things, like WWE Developmental guy Chris Cage being told to change his name by the fed all of a sudden, when he's used it for years, is a sign.
And for what it is worth, "sources close to Christian" are calling it a done deal.

I hope it happens. The roster needs some new blood, even if it's old blood.
I can see the Matt Hardy teaser though, since it is a good backup plan in case it falls through.

Eh, while I am all for the Christian storyline, this sort of thing gets me to roll the eyes. Off of www.f4wonline.com - reprinted without permission. There are reports of an angle inserted into Friday's Smackdown show where Jeff Hardy and fiance Beth are injured in a hit-and-run auto accident in Cameron, NC, most likely with Christian as the perpetrator. Jeff will be okay but Beth will apparently be seriously injured in storyline. That surprises me a little because she's always wanted to be out of the spotlight. I dont like the idea of hit and run accidents and "serious injuries." And Im not a square, it just makes no sense.

It's always kind of funny that when you see major felonies committed, all that happens is a wrestling match.
I'm trying to think of how many wrestlers got away with attempted murder.
I know Hogan ramming a truck into the Rock is one.

Was Hogan in the car? If so, that would be at least TWO attempted murders on his part. There has to be more examples.

I think there was an angle where JBL tried to crush Cena between 2 cars.
