I actually agree with Grover. I could see an IC run at some point, especially with the heat he generates.

You misunderstand wrestling. With the heat he gets, as a COMIC FOIL - he does not need a belt. Also, the IC belt is considered the "WRESTLING" belt. Guys who can actually work trade the belt around. Santino, all agree, can NOT wrestle.
Inside word is that he is midcard all the way. But the WWE thanks you for your interest in him!

I look forward to his run as the IC Champ. I just hope I can remember where this post is when it happens.

My family is an off the boat family, and I don't talk like that... Neither does Santino. He's from Canada. It's called an imitation.

Yeah, and that surely lasted long, huh?
It was a way to introduce a character, failed miserably, and he saved his job by being able to heel so well.

It was about 3 months..not exactly a blink in this day and age..though he did not "defend" it many times during that span....

I wish they had Jeff Hardy defend more, give the IC belt more meaning. It use to be defended in Ladder matches, now it just goes on someones waist for a few months. I get mad thinking how that belt is being used.

I have to say, and noone has mentioned it yed, Jericho looked amazing in the ring last night! I love the new finisher, the "Code Breaker" and the spring board drop kick.

He did look fine, especially against someone limited as Santino is. That said, his outfit was distracting, and his haircut is downright awful. He looks like a gigolo. It was totally throwing me off. Also, you cant deny, the pop was not really there for him. Many are claiming they could read frustration in his demeanor, and he was certainly "smiling less" as if he realized smiling with those whitened teeth was looking silly.
His return is a work in progress, and this is coming from someone who could not wait to see him come back.

I think the black and silver playboy bunny shirt that he used to sport made him look more like a gigolo.
